One of the best place in Chiang Mai ! We enjoyed the nice balcony and the very good bed. The owners, Kasem and his wife, are fantastic. They will do everything to make you feel home and to guide you. We will come back 😄

We had a wonderful stay at the Commonroom CNX. The rooms were lovely, clean and quiet. The host were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, in addition to being very accommodating. The location is fantastic, with everything within walking distance. We would highly recommend the Commonroom for your stay in Chiang Mai!

Everything was perfect

Super cute owners that always asked if they can help! Free water, comfortable beds, felt peaceful and quiet,if you search for a quiet place this is it!:) Super good location in the heart of the oldtown, possible to walk everywhere that is in the square, nice cafe‘s and restaurant, close to the red taxi station and the main temple.

It is a small guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood that is centrally located. I liked having a balcony to enjoy my morning coffee. The owners are both low key and helpful….and I very much enjoyed them!

The hotel is located in a small, calm street, in the middle of the old town. The room was lovely, perfectly clean, and had a balcony with a view on the garden. The beds were very confortable. The couple that hosts this hotel are simply adorable, they took care of us like we were part of their family, we really felt at home and we’ll never forget them!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Excellent location in the centre of the old town with great access to all the temples, good food spas etc. Facilities are great with a private bathroom. There are only 3 other guest rooms so its nice and quiet in the evening too. However, what makes this place truly special are the wonderful hosts! We were made to feel so welcome on arrival and often had chats about our day, sharing a coffee and some fruit grown on their farm (on the outskirts of chiang mai). They really opened up their home to us and showed us good humoured Thai hospitality! If you’re lucky enough to be able to book a place I recommend you snap up the opportunity!

During school hours I shared the classroom instructions with the (young) children in the school opposite to the Guest House - as well as their chanting 'Good morning' etc in English. This is not at all a problem if you're out of the room by 9 am and back after midday. Shower pressure could be better - and probably all the plumbing would benefit from an update - but it all works as is. Minor point: Towel changed only every 4 days - or there's a 50 baht charge.

Safe, comfortable, very clean, great location - calm and quiet, except during school hours. Very solid place to choose to stay in Chiang Mai - near a lot of beauty and walking distance from Thae Pae Gate. Hosts very friendly. Lots of free water and some free snacks in the first floor lobby. Very quiet at night - and lots of great value street restaurants 50 metres away.

my room hot water kept out of control.. I found a way to last the hot water, it hadn't last long though..and there was no sewer inside the bathroom. And it says the check out time is 12:00 on Booking.com , it was 11AM acutally, so should revise the check out time on Booking.com.. It was my main reason to chose this accomodation.:(

It's so great to stay at the Common Room CNX. I really enjoyed meeting the host, they were so welcoming and friendly. The room is so clean and has everything I needed. Most of all, the location is superb to travel old town. I will definitely come back there!

The room was clean and tidy and has everything you need. The landlady was very nice she helped us with everything we needed. The house close to everything in short trip you will see some of temples and shrines. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Very great location, close to most of the attraction points. We like to walk, it was convenient to walk to the jingjao market, Saturday night market...and the sunday night market is just a stone throw away. Fresh food and lovely local breakfast treats was such a daily refresh. Several very famous and old school local food restaurants are just around the corners.
