Wonderful Host and Great Stay! We had a great experience at the hostel thanks to the amazing host — super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They even offered us filtered water, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole place had a warm, relaxed vibe. Highly recommended!

One of the best place in Chiang Mai ! We enjoyed the nice balcony and the very good bed. The owners, Kasem and his wife, are fantastic. They will do everything to make you feel home and to guide you. We will come back 😄

We had a wonderful stay at the Commonroom CNX. The rooms were lovely, clean and quiet. The host were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, in addition to being very accommodating. The location is fantastic, with everything within walking distance. We would highly recommend the Commonroom for your stay in Chiang Mai!

Super cute owners that always asked if they can help! Free water, comfortable beds, felt peaceful and quiet,if you search for a quiet place this is it!:) Super good location in the heart of the oldtown, possible to walk everywhere that is in the square, nice cafe‘s and restaurant, close to the red taxi station and the main temple.

Perfectly situated, perfectly priced and the perfect hosts!

It is a small guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood that is centrally located. I liked having a balcony to enjoy my morning coffee. The owners are both low key and helpful….and I very much enjoyed them!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Excellent location in the centre of the old town with great access to all the temples, good food spas etc. Facilities are great with a private bathroom. There are only 3 other guest rooms so its nice and quiet in the evening too. However, what makes this place truly special are the wonderful hosts! We were made to feel so welcome on arrival and often had chats about our day, sharing a coffee and some fruit grown on their farm (on the outskirts of chiang mai). They really opened up their home to us and showed us good humoured Thai hospitality! If you’re lucky enough to be able to book a place I recommend you snap up the opportunity!

The owners is very friendly and helpful. They made me feel like home. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is in a perfect central location, making it easy to visit any area of the Old City. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Nice family run accommodation, in the heart of Chiang Mai Old Town, tucked away on a quiet side street. Great location to explore Chiang Mai, we enjoyed our stay. The room was simple and clean.

The location. It is in a quiet street but a short way from main attractions. I like my room with a spacious balcony overlooking a pool but sadly, the pool belongs to the guesthouse next door.

Very comfortable room in a great location. The couple running the place were very friendly and helpful, too.

- welcoming local hosts - excellent location right in middle of old town - staying near/among local residences - really clean!

- some room facilities require touch up - early morning will have noises that may wake you up cos neighbors start their days activities - water pressure in shower is low, temp just ok, can get chilly if to shower later in evening during winter season

Safe, comfortable, very clean, great location - calm and quiet, except during school hours. Very solid place to choose to stay in Chiang Mai - near a lot of beauty and walking distance from Thae Pae Gate. Hosts very friendly. Lots of free water and some free snacks in the first floor lobby. Very quiet at night - and lots of great value street restaurants 50 metres away.

During school hours I shared the classroom instructions with the (young) children in the school opposite to the Guest House - as well as their chanting 'Good morning' etc in English. This is not at all a problem if you're out of the room by 9 am and back after midday. Shower pressure could be better - and probably all the plumbing would benefit from an update - but it all works as is. Minor point: Towel changed only every 4 days - or there's a 50 baht charge.

Excellent location and wonderful host.

Wonderful hosts. They were very kind and helpful. The room was clean , comfortable and had a pretty balcony with bamboo growing outside.

Great hospitality, Nim and Kasan are very friendly and supportive, just good and great people. A pleasure to meet them. And very good location!
