Nice stylish hostel, good breakfast with verryyy delicous coffee and super nice staff. Also did the diving course (PADI open water) and the equipment as well as the teacher and assistants were really good, felt safe and had fun.

Hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Everywhere was super clean, staff were amazing. Breakfast was so good! I didn’t go up to the pool as I swam in the ocean every day but it looked great and a few of my friends swam in it. Also - never in my life have I made friends with every single person in a dorm before. All 8 of us were so alike & hung out. Even down in the lobby, everyone would speak to each other - so sociable. The hostel provides a free beach and a free sunset shuttle everyday, you just write your name down and they take you. Such a cool addition for people that can’t get around. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the pier and maybe 45 minutes to the strip area. I couldn’t have loved Koh Tao any more & this special place definitely made it. Thank you The Dearly 🥹

First solo travelling for the first time as a women, I cannot recommend more the Dearly Koh Tao Hostel. Everything was perfect and over my expectations! Since I don’t ride the motorbike the shuttle going to different beaches every day was super convenient. The hostel is really big, the pool is nice, people are super nice. The ambience in general is chill and people are friendly. I really enjoyed my stay in Koh Tao thanks to this hostel! The female room with double beds is so much better than bunker beds and make the stay more comfortable and like home. Thank you to the dearly Koh Tao hostel stuff for the amazing stay

The roosters are loud and annoying in the morning but I was so tired I fell asleep again straight away. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The hostel should be kinder to the black and white cat, Pickles, who visits the front common area. He is the sweetest cat on earth and just wants love and some water occasionally. It’s not expensive to get a cat vaccinated in Thailand and the actual hostel cat Amanda isn’t friendly and doesn’t go to that part of the hostel anyway. #justiceforpickles

The Dearly is a special hostel. It’s serene and full of good people! The dorms are top quality with excellent A/C. The beds are extremely comfortable. The hostel runs a free shuttle to different beaches every day and awesome sunset bars! Perfect if you don’t ride a motorbike like me. They even put on a movie night. It’s social but definitely not a party hostel. I didn’t dive and still found a lot to do (those who dived had an amazing time). The hostel recommended a snorkel tour through Oxygen which was extraordinary! The pool is at the back of the hostel and was kept extremely clean. There are cheap and cheerful Thai restaurants nearby and a 7/11 down the road. I would definitely stay here again.

The pool area isn’t exactly nice like the pictures, it’s a bit run down with broken sun-beds and dirty chairs so we didn’t spend any time there but we hardly spent any time in the hostel as we were always on different day trips. Pool table broken but more or less does the job.

Our private room was comfy and clean. The hostel organises free trips to different beaches twice a day and there is a couple of gorgeous beaches just down the road so good options for places to go. You can book snorkelling and scuba diving at reception

Everything !! the staff is great, breakfast they offer shuttle wich is great if you dont ride a bike , and even is closed to some nice beaches by walking you can qalk to the pier 25 min, the pool is great , facillities i was about to stay only 3 nights i stayed one week thanks to the staff for the experience, higly recommended if you want to stay in a more chill area🙏🏻🖤

Amazing staff, ALL of the staff are the loveliest, helpful, caring people. I've felt very looked after especially as a solo traveller, have been here for 4 weeks in total and will 100% come back to the Dearly. The pool is lovely, room is clean. Food is delicious and great priced, coffee is also very nice.

We loved our 4 night stay at The Dearly. The beds were extremely comfortable in our dorm and the AC was really good. Breakfast is included and was delicious every day. All the staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home. We were there during Songkran and they took us to different locations to join in with the celebrations! The location is good, you are close to a variety of restaurants and a smaller beach however the main beach and pier are around a 25min walk. We hope to return one day!

Really lovely staff, room was really spacious, bright and very peaceful vibe around the hostel. The daily shuttle trips they organise to beaches are great - would highly recommend renting a snorkel at reception and going to Ao Leuk if you get the chance! Will definitely come back here

Loved the rooms, they were clean and bright and also had a mirror and balcony. The pool was good and clean and the staff were lovely. Surprisingly not having my own bathroom didn’t bother me as they bathrooms provided were so clean and close and I never had to wait for a shower etc

Nothing- we love it so much we have gone back twice!

We love the Dearly! We, a momma and two teens, have been back twice to the deluxe room. The room has incredible walls of windows with mountain views and a private balcony. The staff are helpful and friendly, common areas are chilld and clean, and the Dearly has everything you need. Drink fridge, great food and the right prices, fab breakfast, two shuttles daily for private beaches and different sunset locations. Super PADI center, instructors and brand new dive boat. We love it so much we have been back twice!

No curtains for the beds. The reception staff can smile a little bit or maybe because I am Asian too. This happens in Asia. Not sure as I have not observed him with the western guests.

The main member of staff on reception was very blunt and to the point rather than welcoming, but all the other staff members keep you feeling very welcome.

Loved our Room it was very quiet, comfortable and amazing views of the jungle. Diving with the resort was incredible, loved Jane, our diving guide he couldn't have been any better.

Breakfast was always delicious, and they had a full menu of drinks and food available throughout the day if you wanted to stay at the hostel for a meal. The pool was very nice and felt like an oasis. Staff was super friendly and was always there to attend to any needs or offer recommendations. One of the best parts of this hostel is the daily programming. They offer a free shuttle each day to different beaches around the island and even have BBQs / movie nights / game nights. 10/10 would stay here again. Always clean, great aircon and great location.

I was in a 4 bed dorm and it was very big and bright. The hostel was very clean and the stuff super friendly. Big beds and a big balcony. I could work in the common room which was perfect for me. Amazing!
