The receptionist spoiled my mood, made me wait for the room till 4 pm, and raised her voice at me All the reviews are negative comments about the reception staffs and the management doesn't take action.

Stayed here many times. This was the third time, but this time, it was a total disappointment. Late check in up to 4 pm. I received the room, and it wasn't the room which I booked in booking.com. The reception staff is very rude and shouted at me. First time in my life to be humiliated like this as a hotel guest. Housekeeping staff are amazing and always smiling. Maybe they should be working in the reception. I was promised by the management to be contacted regarding the room change, but no one reached me throughout my stay A plus point for the room size, location, and housekeeping staff The receptionist lake manners and communication skills. Very rude

As I said above it’s good if you’re into the night life scene. Those days are behind me so it’s probably better I look for a quieter location moving forward as you constantly have people slamming doors and coming and going most of the night and waking you up. I check out a night early so I go somewhere else to get a decent sleep.

I’ve been staying here on and off for over 10 years. The location is perfect if you’re interested in the night life scene. My room had just been through a refurb so it was nice and clean.

The view was awful, and I thought I asked for a room near the pool, but we got moved to the 4th floor. There are tiles all throughout the hotel, so when young girls came back at 3am yelling and screaming and slamming their hotel doors, the noise echoed, and we were all woken by their noise. There are signs on the inside of the hotel doors about keeping quiet for other guests, but these signs need to be in the hallways and in the elevators, so other guests are not disturbed by other people coming back to their rooms. As females staying in the hotel, I felt very uncomfortable when the hotel staff loudly mentioned our room number in front of 2 other males, who gave us a sideways glance. In future please be mindful of people's privacy and safety and do not call out room numbers in front of other guests.

We were on the 4th floor; elevators were very slow. Location is great. I didn't want to be too close to Bangla Rd and The Lantern was short walk to Bangla Rd and Patong beach. Restaurants, massages shops, chemists, vendors all line the street once you get outside. Jungceylon shopping mall is a few minutes' walk. Beds were so comfortable, room was a fantastic size, enough room for 3 large size suitcases and our carryon luggage. Bathroom was a good size with a very deep relaxing bath. Airconditioning worked very well, and it was definitely needed. There was also a clothes horse and safe in the room if needed as well as a hairdryer. The view wasn't great. You could still hear the music from Bangla Rd around midnight, but it wasn't disruptive. The staff were very welcoming. Our taxi was ordered, and we didn't have to wait long.

The road in front of hotel floods regularly. There is no way to leave the hotel without walking ankle deep in the water.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff member were really welcoming and helpful. The only downside was that we had booked two type of rooms which accommodates our party and had made requests that our rooms be either interconnecting or close by which was acknowledged. However we weren’t told when the booking was confirmed and it was only after payment was charged closer to arrival date that we were told these two rooms are in two separate wings. We then had to pay for an upgrade to be able to keep our party together. While we were given a slightly discounted charges for the upgrade, we were left with no choice as we were already charged for stay.

No hotel territory, one of swimming pools is behind the construction area, thus, no desire to spend time there. The view from the room was on construction area, that is why windows were closed all the time and it was quite dark in the room

Location of the hotel is really good - Bangla road and Patong beach are 10-15 min walking, at the same time, it was quite in the room; room was big enough, beds are comfortable

Shower tile grout could do with a good scrub otherwise great value for money.

Location to day and night time activities was perfect. Close to the department store shopping and then direct access to Bangla Road and the Patong beach restaurants.
