The staff were not very friendly at check in or check out compared to other places we stayed in Thailand.

The resort grounds were sensational. The rooms were large, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The food was delicious.

The gardens are amazing, so many different trees and flowers along the beautiful river. We enjoyed the views every time we walked from our room to the restaurant or to the beautiful pool. All staff really tried their utmost to make our stay fantastic, everybody was so kind. We searched for a long time to find a good hotel in Chiang Rai as all attractions seemed a bit scattered, but The Legend was really well positioned to visit the different locations. They have 2 onsite restaurants that were really great to have, amazing food (local dishes or Italian), nice live background singer and really nice that you could stay on site. We also trally enjoyed the massages and the swimming pool! We will definetly come back to The Legend!

The rooms could do with some minor renovation and maintenance (such as painting the walls, etc.) The location is a bit far away from the main bits and you will require a Grab or to sign up for a tour.

Great hotel in an amazing location by the river. Staff go the extra mile for everything that you may need - always with a smile in their face.

Wonderful views over the river, lush vegetation, and incredible staff to take care of you. Eric, the manager, is very friendly and makes sure his guests are well taken care of. The pool and the surrounding gardens are an oasis of relaxation. Would definitely return there!

The food was a little underwhelming.

The room was big and well set up, the kids loved the massive shower room. The hotel was a 20 minute walk to the city centre, but we really enjoyed the quiet local neighbourhood and ambience by the river, especially the pool area.

It may have been low season, but there was no foid service to the pool.

Overall, all the staff were friendly. The manager Eric was focused on guest satisfaction. The resort had it all, great room, goid service, good food, knowledge if facilities and tourism.

The best hotel we have stayed in so far. The worst thing is that it seems a little run down, specially the spa and the pool. The best thing was the room: it was modern, clean, natural light, nature sounds, mosquito proof.

Very nice and comfortable Hotel with luxury houses direct to the River. We had a house with Private Pool and 2 bedrooms.The service is perfect and the whole stuff very friendly and helpful. Tha Thai Massage was exzellent. The breakfast delicious. The Manager of the Hotel was present every morning due the breakfast and asked if everything is ok.

Food, Did not enjoy the Dinner buffet.

Lovely place with nice villas close to the river. There was jacuzzi inside as well. Great spa. Did not use the pool. Breakfast was okay. Nice staff as well. You can hear the frogs etc at night which did not bother me. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
