The location was perfect. It was a little further from the beach than expected but our stay was lovely and close to everything we needed - there is a cute bar and massage place across the road which was ideal. The rooms were quiet and extremely clean and very roomy. The suite had a separate dining and living area which made it great to have a quiet evening in.

Neighbourhood is super loud. There is a mosque near by and we heard Adhaan few times a day, starting every day at 5:30 am. Other side of the resort (where we stayed) was a cuckoo next door in a balcony that started also to crow every day before 6 am. On the other side of the resort bigger street is closer and there is also a construction site next door. So if you are a light sleeper, this isn’t a place for you. Garden and pool area are also quite small and there isn’t much to do at resort area. They advertised yoga or some other activities but nothing really happened at daytime. Pools were also in bad shape (not looking same as the photos). There are many ceramic tiles missing which makes really sharp edges on the pool sides and ground. Sofa in our livingroom was also little bit dirty with some old stains.

Our room looked freshly renovated. It was nice and clean. Staff was also friendly. Balcony view to the garden is really beautiful.

For walkers, the location is tricky to navigate, but not unmanageable.

the AC stank very bad in living room of one villa. Also the water was leaking from bathroom flush. But since we stayed only one night we decided to live with it. and since it is not a typical hotel, service after 8 pm is practically non-existent

Pretty poor breakfast, so not worth having it included. Almost no sidewalk on the way from hotel to the main road, need to be cautious of hectic traffic.

Property was nice but could do with a freshen up, The location wasn't bad just 10/15 walk to the beach front but the first 2 min your roadside with no path, our shower didn't go hot or stay warm for a very long time either.

The staff were amazing and it was a nice chill stay. We had the villa and had a cat that visited which was super cute! Room was super nice and bathroom was big!

Very very loud at night. The two bedroom apartments are close to a noisy road, luckily there were tvs with good internet so we could play sleep noise on YouTube for the kids through the night and that drowned out some of the traffic sound. The pillows were huge and firm so we used our travel pillows to sleep on. No transfers to Kamala beach, staff were able to offer us one trip one way because I showed them where is says free transfers on the hotel description and they are going to take this off.

The marketing on the website is boarderline a scam. There is no restaurant, no gym, no beach transfer option (and the location is not the best - 10 min walk from the beach and you have to cross an exteme-traffic road). Did not see any yoga either, but classes could have been while we were away. The pool is ok, but many tiles are coming off - seems like poor work.

The bungalow was great! Plenty of space, modern and clean.

Hotel is next to a busy road you have to cross to get to the beach but it’s so quiet in the lovely gardens you don’t notice the road.

Loved this hotel! Very quaint and quite old fashioned and must have been very splendid in its hay day. Now some of it is a bit run down but somehow that adds to its charm. Rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and are so spacious. We had a double suite complete with kitchen and dining table sofa and separate bedroom. Staff are very helpful and would definitely use again.

Some of the resort has aged and looked tired but staff were addressing this while we were there.

Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was provided daily. It was very quiet at the resort, had the pool to ourselves most days. Great location, a 15 min walk or five min taxi to beach. Great base to explore from. Staff provided daily bottled water to the rooms and towels as and when needed for the beach.
