The staff is overall friendly, but they don't speak English well, so it was difficult to get recommendations for the city. Some plates in the breakfast buffet were not clean and there were ants on some counters which I think can be controlled for.

The hotel was very beautiful and perfect for the family with kids for the great swimming pool it has. The size of the room corresponds to a 5-star hotel for sure; however, there were not that many amenities in the room which is not appropriate for a 5-star hotel. I liked the mini-counter for kids with their own cutlery. It was very nice. The hotel is peaceful located in a very nice setting.

Pillows were very big

The hotel was family friendly and well located for sites in Chiang Rai. The pool was big with access to slides for young children. The steak house was very good quality and attentive staff. Lots of free parking available. Rooms were clean and well serviced.

We had a wonderful stay at Riverie. It is a large and luxurious resort with excellent facilities. Our family room was spacious and beautifully designed, providing plenty of comfort for all of us. The swimming pool was big and very clean, and the water slides were a highlight for the children. Breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious with many options to choose from. The location is convenient, and with Grab we could easily reach all the main attractions from the hotel. I would highly recommend this place to families looking for comfort, fun and convenience.

Everything! The staff are amazing, the hotel is beautiful and so clean. Very comfortable bed, huge rooms, fantastic breakfast. The pool and Waterpark are great. The rooftop restaurant, The Peak, is so good and worth the whole experience. The best hotel!

A little tired and dated. The gym was very basic. Shower was a bit mouldy.

Good family room set up. Kids loved the waterslides. Location was easily accessible by car or tuk tuk to centre of Chiang Rai. Wide selection of buffet breakfast. Pretty grounds, enjoyed the running route!

Diner at restaurant on the roof… the host was horrible. He was not hospitality driven, it was as if he didn’t want to work that night.

Nothing, we loved everything about our stay!

The staff were always very friendly, professional and warm - they made our whole family feel incredibly welcome. We loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities, the breakfast buffet had a wide range of foods available and were good quality. The choice of restaurants at the Riverie were also great, ranging from casual to fine dining (would definitely recommend a dinner at The Peak). We would definitely come back again, and would recommend others to do so.

Not much in walking distance as for shops restaurants etc.....but it's not a big deal at all.

What a great hotel. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Very nice bathroom. The pool was wonderful. Not much around hotel but easy to get a taxi to nearby attractions. Breakfast also very good. Staff were fantastic!!!
