Not much of a beach - better beaches further away Thought it was overpriced @ £33 p'night - worth £20

Good location right next to the beach. Very nice pool. Had a bar next to the pool. Small breakfast included was ok. Staff were pleasant & helpful. 100 metres walk to variety of restaurants & coffee shops.

No staff after 9pm . Most of the nights during our stay, others guests gathered to party around the pool area. Music on, loud talking. Not really the quiet surroundings mentioned in other reviews. As nobody from the staff was there we had to explain to these people that it was supposed to be quiet after 10 pm. At 6.30 in the morning staff start cleaning the chairs at the restaurant . Moving them and subsequently making noise. At 6.30 !!!! Short nights. :-(

As others have said the rooms are lacking somewhere to put things. We had to live out of the suitcase. Also backout curtains would be nice.

Located in a quiet and relaxing resort. Comfortable bed. Nice sized clean room and bathroom. There is a pool but I didn't use it and a small beach although there are much better beaches on Koh Chang. Pleasant bar area with restaurant. There is also a lovely restaurant at the top of the road. The staff called a taxi for us when we left

The building further back where all the rooms are is damp, too much concrete, too much sound reverberation. It felt like being on some type of German social housing estate.

The pool and beach areas were enjoyable. The vibe was chill. The two ladies Min and Pi were helpful and got my stuff back I left in the room when new guests were inside. The gentleman working there was also helpful. The food was good, pineapple coconut curry was interesting- I'd definitely recommend.

No customers in resort’s own restaurants in the evening.

Nice looking , small pool area near/on the beach. Fresh, cooling water in clean pool. Hotel area is really quiet. No customers in it’s own restaurants. Restaurants 300 metres away on the street. Neighbour resort has better beach bars, but they are not noisy.

Excellent place for stay. We just arrived and we are already loved this place. Pool and sea are right next to each another. That is not shown in hotel pictures, but you really have private beach. It's a litlle bit rocky, but very ok. Our room is in 2nd floor and cheapest one, but includes everything we need: ac, refrigator, balcony, ok view is to the parking area😊

Huts are a bit outdated but on the other hand the price I paid was well worth the outdated huts. This however means that if you’re unlucky and there is a party next door or some strong wind that you might sleep very poorly. There is practically 0 noise insulation (could hear animals moving on the roof of the hut. I do have to say that I’m a light sleeper.) When it comea to the location: you’re away from the crowds, which is great in my opinion, but if you rent a scooter you’re just a 10 to 15min drive away from the crowds (a lot of up’s and downs and turns with practically 0 lights so only rent a bike if you’re ok with that). Otherwise you can take the “taxi’s” which will ask between 50 and 100baht per person to get you to Lonely Beach or Kae Bae. Last point of attention: the beach in front of the hotel is made of stones. If you want a sandy beach you need to get to Lonely beach which is a 5 min drive, or further up north. The rocks start from Lonely beach and go all the way to the south of the island.

The huts (rented a hut with pool view) are located in a small neighborhood just 100m away from the 1 main road of the whole island. Room has everything you need and so does the neighborhood (restaurants, small mini markets, laundry shop, massages and possibility to rent scooters). I had an issue with the toilet and they moved me directly to another similar hut and made sure that I was happy with the new hut. As my hut was located next to the hotel bar I was scared of having 0 sleep, but they close the bar and stop the music well before bedtime (just keep the bar in mind in case you want to do a powernap during the day). The pool wad awesome with a direct view on the sea.

The pool had very deep steps into the water and NO handrails or ladders to get or out! My older companion had much bother entering and exiting and this was very dangerous. Photo below of pool with no ladders etc! We had continuous problems with the tv. Either only 9 thai channels one day to only a violent movie channel another and yet another day couldnt turn tv on or off. After having staff adjust tv 3 different occasions we gave up and lay on the bed at night and read. Hotel was ok but 3 klm walk back to Lonely Beach was too much for us so relied on small selection of 3 mini marts and restaurants near location. Private beach very small in front of hotel and either broken coral or mangroves which neither inspired swimming in murky water. At at restaurant once but as I never recieved the l complete dish I ordered we didnt go back.

Lovely clean pool. Nice helpful staff who under the circumstances tried to help us with the ongoing problems we had with the hotel.

Worst bathroom ever. Floor was always wet because of the leaking sink. Very bad smell from the drainage. Breakfast was very minimal and not good at all (just go to Nanny's restaurant up the road!) Staff (except the gardener) seemed unmotivated or bored to me – not the atmosphere you would wish in such a place.

Our bungalow was right beside the Sea, and we could watch the sunset from the pool.

I cleared a little rubbish from beach and hotel grounds. There is a pool man at hotel, but he spends his time sleeping all day. If he was to do some work he could clean the pool and attend to watering and maintaining the garden.

Lovely spot overlooking the ocean. I booked the best room right by pool and beach. Great pool and location.
