Staff was ao corporative. Kitchen available but so dirty and broken cabinet.

wash room were dirty. No hand wash or soap at hand wash sink. Old brown building. They have new building too but that cost 100 somon

We came very late in the morning and Hamza was very kind to receive us and show us around. The room was a surprise - clean, very new with a perfect shower and a techie mirror - :) The location was near the Asian express terminal where we could find the exchange office and got a bus -" mashrutka" downtown. We enjoyed our stay there for sure - thank you !

Nothing, we had a terrible experience

When we were paying, the owner tried to charge us more thank the actual price on the booking, saying that the exchange rate from the Tajik bank was different than the official rate. We asked to see and she was lying so we managed to pay the agreed upon amount. After this, they told us the room we had booked was not available, because a previous guest had decided to stay an extra night so they gave this guest our room, which is extremely unprofissional (and a typical scam in hostels). Instead of a double bedroom, they gave us a 4-bed dormitory, that reaked like smoke. We asked to have our money back, at least partially. There was a lot of back and forth and they said they would only do it if we canceled our booking (which we couldn't because it was after the canceling deadline by Booking.com). Finaly they agreed to give us a 10% discount if we didn't give a bad review, but we had to because the experience was terrible.

Amazing host,clean surroundings and falls in the mid of the city

So hot. No AC. The fan was only for staff but not for guests. Kitchen and toilet very dirty. Part of the staff does not speak English.

It was the cheapest option

I was there for 5 days (it was just too much hassle to change) only noticed my room get swept once as there were food scraps there when I arrived Only 1 power outlet in our 6 person dorm worked. They offered a 3 outlet powerboard but then took it away constantly. There was only 1 bathroom/toilet combo shared between the 4 bed and 6 bed dorm which made morning a mission. Someone also the staff ate my food less than 2 hours after I put it in the fridge - can’t tell which is staff and who is long term, everyone seems to operate reception…

The room is big and clean and well furnished We could park the car inside Access to kitchen Location is good, a bit far from city center but you can walk or take taxis easily

Lack of organisation of the staff

I booked double room for myself after dorms were horribly noisy. Even some staff crazy noisy. Located near bus stn but not conveniently close to centre.Certainly not ideal & owners had v limited English but appreciated use of laundry facilities.

Very helpful staff always accommodates you very well and i will always recommend this hostel in Tajikistan Thanks Anisa hostel

The beds are really good, comfortable

The rooms have no windows, it stinks when you enter the room. The upper beds do not have sockets, the staff start making noise early in the morning, play music, enter the guest's room, it is impossible to sleep

I like the bathroom tools. And the bed and there was two mirrors in the room and bathroom. I liked it. The light style was gorgeous I spend time looking at it. They helped with my luggage i appreciate it

The location was too difficult to find foe taxis and it was in the middle of the villagelike street. Far from the centre and too many turnouts on the street road. It's road is complicated.

Fine but location is no good

No breakfast and the problem is there's no muslim shower for toilet only you have to use tissue for cleaning. If you are Muslim how you will manage it.?

First thing is the location is hard to find. Second the kitchen is not clean and i got electric shock by the electric gas. Third there were some more people from bangladesh i was so tired they literally used phone in full volume and they talk very loudly i couldn’t sleep whole night. Toilet is so dirty. There was one more toilet which was terrible i didn’t like this i would prefer to spend more money but not to stay in this worst hostel. The service was not good

Exactly this is only one single hostel and hotel in Dushanbe with adequate price. Location is perfect, near bus station and city center. Good personnel. Not that over-expensive, real price for separate rooms, relevant for backpackers. The only thing not good enough, during winter it was cold in common room. But I can imagine it's OK in other season. Hope there will be more hostels in Dushanbr like that

The central heating was adequate

The shabbiness of the hostel generally. The bathrooms are tiny, the hot water is not available for early showers. The kitchen needs a complete revamp. As does virtually everything else. Too many beds in a small sized hostel overall.
