Great location close to the chaotic hubbub of Dili yet felt like a calm oasis within. Beautiful pool and deck area. Restaurant overlooking the ocean and traffic. Night food market right on the doorstep.

The only thing was booking transport through the hotel was unreliable but someone always came to my rescue.

Pool was closed for maintenance, although we didn't see any maintenance occurring. Restaurant was nice but there was a lot of noise from the road. I suggest sit at the back overlooking the pool.

Cool rooms. An air-conditioner that worked. Comfortable beds. Quiet room. Good meals, including complimentary breakfast. Staff were helpful.

I have stayed here in 2017 and 2018. I think it may be a little tired and obviously old plumbing is an issue throughout Timor. I think the food is OK but not as good as in the past.

The location and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. On-site pool, bar and restaurant area. Ideal spot to catch up with people. Drinking water in the rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast is included.

Often would need to get a new wifi code every 2-3 days. Front desk not 24 hours and didn’t have a lot of spare change (e.g. coins to take local taxis). These are relatively small matters though

Good wifi for Timor standards (has a Starlink access). Lovely outdoors area and small pool which was accessible 24 hours! Lovely elevated bar and dining area with beach views. Strong air conditioning.

They need new toasters for the breakfast as they were old and slow and sometimes didn't work. The upstairs room was surface clean but everything needs a good scrub, polish etc. Especially the taps etc.

The Esplanada was good. I loved the atmosphere, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The pool area was great. The hotel let us store our luggage while we went to Atauro for a few days. Love the restaurant and bar area.

It sometimes felt that the place was a little under-staffed

The staff were always friendly and helpful. The views of the waterfront from the restaurant were nice, especially at sunset. The bed was very comfortable.

Hotel is a bit rickety in places, needs some maintenance. Room was tired. Breakfast was basic. Not great value compared to other Dili hotels.
