We love Esplanada. The pool is fabulous. The food is great. The staff are excellent.

Lovely courtyard and pool with rooms overlooking the small Oasis

The traffic noise made conversation difficult on the lovely spacious verandah area.

Great location close to the chaotic hubbub of Dili yet felt like a calm oasis within. Beautiful pool and deck area. Restaurant overlooking the ocean and traffic. Night food market right on the doorstep.

Would have been nice if more local food was offered on the restaurant menu, but there was plenty nearby.

Beautiful setting…cool and calm. Great pool area, restaurant and gardens. Staff lovely , and late checkout created for me.

Pool, good wifi and great cafe and bar to work in.

The only thing was booking transport through the hotel was unreliable but someone always came to my rescue.

Cool rooms. An air-conditioner that worked. Comfortable beds. Quiet room. Good meals, including complimentary breakfast. Staff were helpful.

Pool was closed for maintenance, although we didn't see any maintenance occurring. Restaurant was nice but there was a lot of noise from the road. I suggest sit at the back overlooking the pool.

The location and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. On-site pool, bar and restaurant area. Ideal spot to catch up with people. Drinking water in the rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast is included.

I have stayed here in 2017 and 2018. I think it may be a little tired and obviously old plumbing is an issue throughout Timor. I think the food is OK but not as good as in the past.

If you want the Ritz Carlton , stay somewhere else. This is cool cozy, low key and very comfortable. Good location , right on the beach opposite the bbq stalls, not far from shops. The staff are the best!!! Very friendly and helpful. The restaurant deck is great and the service there is prompt and the food is delicious - compliments to the chef.

Nothing really. Some stuff didn’t work but just ask and they get it fixed.

Good wifi for Timor standards (has a Starlink access). Lovely outdoors area and small pool which was accessible 24 hours! Lovely elevated bar and dining area with beach views. Strong air conditioning.

Often would need to get a new wifi code every 2-3 days. Front desk not 24 hours and didn’t have a lot of spare change (e.g. coins to take local taxis). These are relatively small matters though

Central location at the waterfront. Good breakfast, the restaurant, a big deck overlooking the water. Comfortable roman and clean swimming pool.

A great location & a nicely set out hotel. A bit rough around the edges, but the best you’ll get in Dili.

It seemed expensive for what the offering is.
