    The room was air conditioned.

The internet was very unstable and when i complained to the night clerk he told me it was not his problem and that the specific room didn't have internet access, a blatant lie. He told me to contact the boss. After i got angry and yelled at him and told him that was his job, he finally called the boss who told him to move me to another room. This guy shoukd be fired. The ckeaner however was very nice and helpful Also nobody speaks a word of English, all the conversatiins took place through a guy who was staying there and offered to help.

for the price I paid this was excellent. I had a triple room with balcony and free breakfast for 18 euros. The shared bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water

just paying cash, but this seems to be common in Tunis. The area looks a bit rough but I didn’t feel unsafe

Simple but good and very clean room. Good bed. Very central location. Friendly host.

It could have been nice with a better lamp for reading.

    Great location

They need to be a bit more mindful of people trying to sleep, in this case, tell the guests to don't speak so loud.

I stayed at the hotel for a few nights. The location of the hotel is the only advantage - just a few minutes away from Medina. The room is fair, the bed linen was clean enough. The host was very helpful.

You get what you pay for. I ordered a standart room, though it had shared bathroom and toilets. The room didnt have a toilet or a shower. The shower is shared and only one shower per a floor, so had to wait to get into it. It was also written that breakfast is included, but I didnt get one, because the host said its ramadan. Overall, the hotel pretends to be way better than it is.

    Property response:

Sir you get what you want : you reserved basic room and we gave you a room without shower and w.c but if you reserved suite room that you woud have everything inside not collectif. I m sorry this your choice ....For breakfast, there is a note in Booking rules that we didn't serve breakfast in Ramadhan. Don't forget that you were in an Islamic country Sir.

Budget hotel for budget traveller. OK Breakfast. Staff nice and spoke French at reception. Less than 5 minute walk to medina. Lots of nearby cafes and diners in an authentic living and breathing part of Tunis. A good option for a backpacker traveller

One shower to share between maybe 10 rooms but I managed as it was low season and hotel was not busy. Sometimes noisy at night.

    Nothing

We arrived late to the hotel, me and my Tunisien husband, and they dident let us sleep in the same room because we dident have our marriage paper with us. We are married in Sweden. He could give us 2 rooms, one on the top floor and the other on the bottom floor and he will check that we dont visit each other!

    Property response:

We are sorry for the tunisian law which doesn't permit to unmarried couple to spend the night in the same room when one of them is Tunisian. Otherwise, if the couple is stranger it is possible to cohabit in the same room . We are sorry for this but we have to respect the law. It isn't true that you have married in Sweden because you don't have the prove otherwise we accept you and in all the case we have to respect the law. Thank you for your good understanding.
