Sea could be wavy some days. Coctails on pool bar must be increased. Staff was friendly but maybe too much, they could be more respectful for the guest's expectations if you went there for relaxing. They should have immediately built a beach bar if they want to provide 5 * services. Because, even there were some minus things, the hotel and its management very nice, clean rooms (everyday) they would do better cuz they know how to manage a hotel, this is for just a positive critisim.

Hotel is very good and meets your expectations. They provided us a big terrace room. location is good, staff is friendly. We were on a girls trip from Turkey, they interested in it - maybe too much. Reception guy was professional, knew lots of languages. And special thanks to Ahmed on the bar, he gives his everything for his job, works a lot to serve you well. Meals are fine, could be diversify. Pool bar was good, pool can be more clean but idea of having drinks and cigarettes there very good design as well as hotel's landscaping Overall, the hotel deserves 8,5 points i think, evaluating the area and the culture, it seems very nice and again meets our expectations.

It would be great to renovate the rooms to make the stay even more comfortable. The only drawback for us was the absence of a WC bidet spray in the bathrooms, which would have added extra convenience.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish — the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of. A special mention goes to Mira, the animator, whose energy, kindness, and creativity made our experience even more enjoyable. She truly went above and beyond to make guests feel happy and entertained.

One word, maintenance. For a hotel like this, I would not expect to be using a bathroom where the toilet flush button is broken and has to be a angled a certain way in order for the flush to work! Secondly, the bathtub was also a bit dodgy and the water pressure was a bit on the weak side - I've stayed in WAY cheaper hotels where the bathroom was amazing! The chain for the balcony door was full of rust which made it difficult to close. This hotel definitely needs some renovation.

This was my first time staying in an Iberostar and tbh I was expecting a bit better after reading all the reviews. Starting with the positives, I booked the all inclusive option and the food overall was great. Lots of variety with a few different things on a daily basis so no complaints there. The room I booked was overall very spacious, clean & came with a beautiful view which you can see from the image. Excellent bathroom ameneties. The location of the resort was also good with only a 2 3 minute walk to some shops, cafes and if needed, a pharmacy. The staff were overall very friendly and professional.

Cocktails were tasteless (too much ice/water), Gym missed equipment for leg workout, loud music after 22h, food was not labelled correctly, chemical smell due carpet replacement in the corridors.

Beds so uncomfortable could barely sleep. Air con didn’t work so uncomfortably hot. Understand why staff approach holiday makers but it was just too much and highly annoying when you are trying to relax.

The staff were polite, although a few were a bit too persistent in offering extra services. Our booking included only breakfast and dinner, and we had to pay extra for lunch, which felt overpriced but we didnt have choice as it was during Ramadan and there were no restaurants open in Hammamet. Despite being off-season, the hotel was clean and well-maintained. However, the animation was lacking, and there wasn’t much to do in or around the hotel, apart from walking along the beach.

1-It would be nice if all the food in the buffet dinning hall was labelled properly to see if it contains beef or not because of my religion. I had to keep asking the staff who always tried to help me! 2-You had to pay extra for a safe! 3-Beach is not very clean sometimes with a lot of plastic rubbish and lots of camel poo specially during the weekends which i think the local authoroties don't clean very often. Also the beach had always the red flag on so a bit dangerous to venture in the sea for a swim!

We booked for breakfasts and dinners only as we were going to do day trips much of the week. We were surprised to discover no drinks, not even water, was included with our dinner. Ans the pillows were terrible (I’d seen a previous review mentioning this but didn’t think every pillow would be horrible).

The rooms and corridors are a bit dated at this point, but that was not really a problem for us.

I have spent a couple of nights with my wife and 15 years old daughter in the Iberostar Averroes hotel during a recent trip to Tunisia. We loved the beachfront location close to the beach walk and main attractions in Hammamet. The hotel has a very good structure with internal/external pools and good restaurants. I would recommend for individuals traveling to Hammamet.

The hotel feels quite old compared to the pictures. The gym and indoor pool were not always open. The reception staff were not very helpful.

The staff are hit and miss, some are nice and friendly, like our room service maid Fatima, she was amazing. Others during breakfast and dinner were a bit moody and are in a rush to take your plates. If you’re there on your own at dinner or breaky, make sure you let them know to leave your plates if you get up because no matter how full, they’ll pick them up. However, the key disappointing thing I wanted to point out is the pool was FREEZING. The sun was out and it was a great day, I tried swimming regardless of how cold but honestly I’ve been in ice baths warmer lol.

Beautiful hotel, pools and beach all is great, no complaints there. Fun activities like tennis, table tennis and more available.
