How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewI traveled alone with my kids, and all the staff was making sure that we had everything we needed. From the Reception ( where i could do a late check out, due to the late Return Flight) to the staff at the restaurant (decorating also our table with flowers). We really had fun and enjoyed our stay :)
Just a small suggestion : the meal timing was not ideal, especially with small kids. Lunch from 12:30 and dinner from 18:30, half an hour earlier would have been perfect.

Verified reviewThe staff were generally excellent - friendly, chatty, and accommodating. Special mention for Aicha at reception, Fairuza and Murad the floor staff, and Willy the highly energetic lead animator. Facilities: The pools (3) and waterslides were very good - ample space, clean, and well maintained. The gardens were also beautiful and well taken care off. Direct beach access. Lobby, restaurants, and common areas were clean, tidy, and elegant. Animation was fun and not intrusive. Buffet meals and all inclusive drinks: Very generous, well prepared and organized, if a bit short on variety - particularly at lunch.
Some staff didn't read the customer service memo: Security at the gate, who got very vocal with me for not reverse parking the car (it had to be unloaded - so told them I would take a few mins, and they gave me "maximum 1min"... needless to say, I ignored them). The very rude lady at the Spa / fitness, who didn't like to be asked questions that interrupted her from Facebook, or YouTube, or whatever was so important on her phone. Like most Tunisian hotels, the maintenance is a bit lax, but to be fair a lot better than many of its peers. In this case the gym needs some attention (limited machines, some damaged), the bathroom was a bit 'tired', and many of the deckchairs were scruffy / damaged. Not big deals though. The hotel is located in the Aghir area, which is less fancy than the northern end of the Touristic zone - if that is important to you. Beaches not quite as pristine, and fewer activities, bars, clubs, etc... walking distance from the hotel.

The buffet was varied but the quality of food very poor, we can find sometimes damages salads or tomatoes or fruits. The beach in front of the hotel was not clean, we walked a little bit in the right to find a better beach but not so good.

Food bad smell/odour all over the hotel, never found like this in any hotel. They keep the kitchen and dining door open and there is no enough ventilation. Staffs may be used to with that bad odour but anybody come from outside-it’s just too bad. Kitchen staff are not friendly at all. I’m one occasion they refused to sit on window side as we are two and that table is for 4, no single table for two by the window side. Huge language barrier among all staffs even on front desk. Room amenities quite old and not in perfect order and condition. Did not even provide a bottle of water in the room. I’m a world traveler, I recommend to learn the good hotel business from other good hotels.
This hotel offers the best of standards and the food is amazing in.variety and presentation. As an English speaker I found no issues in any area of the hotel which is run at a very high level
