How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There's no tall mirror in the bedroom (which would be helpful). The bathroom has few hooks or shelves above the toilet (which would be very helpful). There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom, and the bedroom has only a few poorly placed ones. The shower drain was a bit clogged (water struggles to drain).
Firm, comfortable beds. Low pillows. Close to the center. Friendly staff. Air conditioning. Close to the train station (but I didn't have any particular noise problems with the windows closed and the air conditioner on).

It would be good if the hotel had a water cooler to avoid having to buy so many plastic bottles of water.
A good budget choice near the station in Tunis. Clean, basic rooms, a constant supply of hot water and very pleasant, helpful receptionists.

Old building and rooms
Close to the city center and most of amenities, better to persons travelling with low-cost budget, and suitable to spend few nights (1-2). The staff is kind with commitment to provide cleanliness and best experience.

I did not like the poor communication with the hotel staff, and the lack of a clear system in the reception area and responding to concerns.

The wifi is bad - very unreliable. The staff had a mixup and thought I didn't check in and messaged me to ask whyin the middle of the night.
The location is great, the beds are great, the bathrooms are great. The fundamentals are all good.

The area where it’s located isn’t very nice and the room was quite small.
The property was located near the train station, the room was clean and comfortable, I think the hotel represented good value for money, WiFi was reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The living space in the room was extremely tight. There was no place to store clothes – no shelf, wardrobe, hanger, not even a chair.
The staff was nice and helpful. Cleanliness – no complaints. The location is somewhat central, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. The price was fair.

We paid in Euros and they give us the change in a mixture of Euros and Tunisian Dinar. BE CAREFUL - the exchange rate they use between Euros and Dinar is shocking!! Clearly you can’t expect the offical rate, but the rate they use is well below that of your standard currency exchange. Just pay in Dinar or have the exact amount in Euros handy

everything OK. situated next to main train station which has one plus - proximity to centre a transportation and one minus - in Tunisia there is very strange custom - trains honk from early morning even when they are parked in the terminal. So you may be unexpectedly waken up. But this is not problem of hotel itself.
