A nice traditional house in the historic part of Mahdia, in walking distance to all there is to see in that charming town. Very good and copious breakfast served by a friendly lady.

Our travel was mid-Nov off season, would just suggest giving the caretaker an accurate window of time to meet you at property … or just knock on door of one of adjacent neighbors, and they will get someone for you.

Adorable property in old Madina section of Mahdia. Very nicely renovated and looks even more pleasing to the eye than the pics. The Madina is great to walk around early for pics and seeing daily life start to the point with lighthouse. Great courtyard with a restaurant, less than 5 minute walk.

Highlight of our stays in Tunesia. Comfy rooms, multiple (and clean, comfortable) bathrooms, a great rooftop terrace and nice sitting area downstairs. We had a fan in our room that worked well enough to not miss the AC. The apartment is located in the old center. It's a small walk to shops and cafes and the direct street is relatively quiet. The real highlight of this stay is Sameh though. The host (you will speak to him through booking/WhatsApp) is really helpful and friendly, but Sameh is the person who greets you with a smile every morning and makes you some great breakfast. She makes sure the house is clean and that you enjoy your stay.

Apart from one, rooms are fan cooled and therefore quite hot during summer months. For the same reason windows have to be kept open, which may cause some noise problems, even though the neighborhood is overall peaceful.

May be no AC in the room.

Communication via whatsaap days before my arrival was smooth. They were super kind and cheerful. The decor is exceptionally traditional and beautiful. It was clean and calm. A very rewarding experience I had here and am glad about the service and the smiling lady who was pampering us.

I loved everything from this house, right from the beginning to the end. The lady in charge (Sameh) is a plus to this lodging. I loved her constant smile, her willingness to solve any possible problem, and her breakfasts. The rooftop terrace is like a postcard where you can see “both oceans”. I will return for sure
