Breakfast was great and we had an amazing relaxing time. They went out of their way to make us feel really welcome and at home, service I was exceptional.

I don’t think words can fully capture how wonderful our experience at Dar Salama was, but I’ll try. This gorgeous bed and breakfast boutique hotel is the place to be in Tunis. Marie and her staff are the most welcoming people I have ever met in the hospitality industry—they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. You feel like part of a family, but still have your privacy: a beautiful room with a terrace, and your own table under the lemon trees where you can enjoy a delicious, outstanding breakfast while gazing at the inviting pool. There are lovely sandy beaches nearby, and the northernmost point of continental Africa—Cap Angela—is only a half-hour drive away. The property is also within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. We truly enjoyed our time in Bizerte thanks to Marie and Amunar.

Beautiful hotel. Room was very comfortable with lovely decor. Excellent breakfast. Marie was such a friendly and informative host. We'll be back here for sure!

Everything was great

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Salama. The place is calm, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Marie, the hostess, is incredibly kind and helpful, and the entire staff made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast fresh, generous, and beautifully served. We truly appreciated the care and attention to detail throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place to stay

The best accommodation of our trip to Tunisia, and we've stayed in other very good ones. Everything is perfect: the house, the traditional yet high-design decor, the living rooms, the pool, the garden and its vegetation, the bed, the sheets, the bathroom, the magnificent breakfast... and especially the service from Hamona, who not only took care of us every minute we were there, but is also a wonderful and passionate conversationalist who enlightened us about the city and his country. Although he's young, he's a professional through and through, making everything flow smoothly and effortlessly.

Home away from home, definitely not your usual hotel experience! Very personal touch with the lady owner on welcoming as well as the gentleman who works overnight. Pool area is lovely, and the vibe at breakfast is amazing. Fresh items prepared on request and a lovely seaview.

As the property is old but well maintained , hot water takes a little time in the bathroom, although we did stay in peak winter. A lot of steps down to the entrance so luggage on arrival and departure may be a bit difficult to carry. Didn’t like the owner’s dog being around in common areas.

Marie,the owner was absolutely helpful and nice so is Mouhamed who does night shift. I really didn’t like the women who served the breakfast she was arrogant and not friendly.

From the moment we were picked up from Tunis to the moment we left Dar Salama - we loved everything. I have very high expectations when I travel, but Marie and her Team have managed to surpass them. The house is extraordinary with beautiful design, pool, grounds and personal touches from Marie and her life in different countries. The breakfast by the pool was excellent and prepared with care and love! For the first time, ever, we were sad to leave and wished we have booked our whole stay at Dar Salama 🤍

From the moment I arrived, the staff here were so helpful and hospitable. The property is beautiful and unique, and the breakfast was incredible. There are lovely cats & dogs around the property too. They are aware that it's a little bit further from the center so they even drove me to and from the center on a number of occasions and wouldn't accept money for it!

Dar Salama is amazing! In particular, the woman who runs the operation (Marie) is one of the kindest people I've ever met. She and her partner cooked delicious breakfast with a huge spread of fruit, pastries, eggs, juice, and coffee. The pair also drove us to and from Cap Angela, had great recommendations around town, and the facilities were beautiful, clean, and extremely well-maintained.

The WiFi didn't really work.

Excellent service! Great Breakfast! And also dinner was very good! Especially the kindness of the owner was fantastic!

The best home I've ever stayed in, our room was incredibly thoughtfully furnished with every detail and need taken care of. Miss Marie was a delight and served the most amazing breakfast with an array of fresh juices including a lemon on from the tree in the hotels garden. It was a privilege to stay here and I would recommend to all in Bizerte
