This place is truly amazing and it exceeded our expectations by far. The calm washes over you as soon as you step in and we found ourselves loosing sense of time just watching the ebb and tide. On one side of the house you have small bay with fishing boats, and on the other side you'll find a small and calm beach. Leila and Faycal, the owners of the house, treated us with such warmth and we really felt we've made friends for life. From the sunrises, to the starry nights, this is a place you definitely shouldn't miss if your planning a trip to Djerba! We highly recommend a stay at Dar Bidha and hope to be back ourselves someday.

They don't have credit card payment, the reason is that the connection is very poor around the place. (even for mobile phones), also they almost don't have wifi in the rooms (I was honored to get their wifi router near my room after I told them I needed it for work, however this shouldn't be the case). Also breakfast starts somewhere between 8:30 and 9:00 am. you won't find staff before that time. and For early birds like me, that was a problem.

The location is perfect for people who want to enjoy some quite time in Djerba, in the edge of the sea and near the ferry that takes to/from Djerba to main land tunisia. The scenery are amazing, almost 360 view of the sea. the rooms are great for couples, and the staff are very friendly. Mr.Faisal is a great story teller and very friendly. they will give you tips on what to do in Djerba. The sea is wonderful and swimmable for youngsters, and it's located near fishermen boats. which create an amazing scenery, espcially in sunset. The rooms are quite and enjoy a kiss of sunlight all day, with the added delight of sea's smell.

The young man Fawzi looked after us extremely well. He is very honest and kind and speaks good English. The lady who served breakfast was also very kind and served a good breakfast. As other guests have said, the room and building are all well maintained and very nicely decorated and furnished. We arrived by taxi which are very cheap on the island and again honest taxi drivers. The walks along the shoreline are interesting. There's plenty of flamingoes, pelicans and other wading birds. Photography brilliant from the building and elsewhere. The property has the advantage of being in the least developed part of the island which gives you a feel for what Djerba must have been like prior to the onset of mass tourism which of course is mainly concentrated in the North. Outstanding sunsets which are as early as 17.00 hours in December. We will surely remember the kindness and hospitality and lovely views. Thank you from Janet and Roy from Burnley, England.

Little paradise, we felt in love with: - a place to relax and recharge your energy. So calm and special with it's location close to the sea. At night you can watch the stars on the roof terrace. Cozy room. - Wonderful hosts. Supported in any way possible and ensured we are having a great time.

Their credit card machine didn’t work so be prepared to pay with cash. Many sun umbrellas on the property were broken from the wind. They needed to throw them away. The pool needed some maintenance but it was good for a quick dip when the tide was out.

The staff was amazing! The breakfast and other food they offered us was incredible. The seclusion and scenery were so relaxing and beautiful! The rooms were clean and comfortable and had nice decorations. You feel like you are in Greece at this quaint hotel. 100% worth the stay but just don’t expect it to be super high end.

I didn’t know that it was in the middle of nowhere, the wifi doesn’t work, the pool is under construction so it is not working and the property didn’t mention it in the description. When you pay such amount of money you don’t expect to pay the bottle of water as an extra each time especially if the closest place to do groceries is an hour and a half on feet

The staff, especially Rim, was amazingly accommodating and helpful, the view is very beautiful, the beach and the sunset are incredible

Our room was rather small and it gets quite warm in the afternoons, so it is not possible to sleep without AC which I particularly do not like. The pool was not working during the time of our visit and we were not informed in advance. The location has pros and cons. If you like to have peace and dislike mass tourism, this is the right place to stay but be aware you would need to rent a car to be more flexible.

We particularly liked the style and the remote location. The view specially at sunset was priceless. The breakfast was also very good and the manager Emilia was super friendly and helpful.

If staying in the Bungalow unit you must descend narrow stairs outside to reach the bathroom in the common area. Not a problem but just to be aware.

Wonderful quiet location directly on the Mediterranean with very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. Accommodations simple and comfortable.

Honestly, everything! The staff is extremely nice, welcoming and accommodating - they go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. The food was amazing, falling asleep with the sound of the waves is priceless and having a drink while watching the sunset setting on the ocean is just incredible. We will definitely return and I'll recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Djerba!

I wish that the Breakfast would have been better for the price I paid.

I loved the location along with the room and its interior design. Mrs. Laila whom is the owner made sure that each corner is taken care of. Enjoyed the sunrise and sunset hours where there is a beautiful seating area on their rooftop to enjoy the scenery. The next day I had an early flight to Tunis and Mr. Faisal whom also is the owner stayed connected till he made sure I landed safely in Tunis. That was so nice of him.

The water pressure was very low. And there’s no handle for the shower head. It would be better if these parts can be improved.

We really like the location because it faces the lagoon and we can go swimming when ever we want when there is high tide and the water is super good without waves. It’s definitely the quietest part of Djerba. It takes 20 minutes for us to drive to the other towns or restaurants like Houmt Souk or Djerbahood. If you don’t mind driving it’s a perfect location to stay. The facilities are quite new. However, when we checked in there was a ball of hair in the bathroom. Other than that everything was good. We had a very relaxing stay.

Heaven on Earth as Faycel and Leila describe it, we had a pleasant stay, the hosts are super welcoming and we enjoyed the chitchat with them so much. The place is sublime, like a room in a boat, the water is magical, and the atmosphere is at the top. I highly recommend this guesthouse.
