How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Sound proofing in the rooms could be better as everytime the furniture is moved in the room next door, it disturbs us.

Verified reviewWe were a group of 4 & all of us can highly recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly & helpful & always smiling . The food & drink choice is fabulous. There was always sun loungers available & we didn’t have any problems getting one. As usual a lot of the loungers had towels placed on them early morning by the “sun lounger saver wa*kers” who then don’t actually use them but feel the need to go down at 7am & place their towels claiming it theirs for the day but you get that everywhere. I’m not sure how it would be high season, but going in May was quieter & we always got seated where we wanted. The beach staff bring you comfy mats to go on the loungers & are happy to assist. waiters serve you drinks on the beach. (A tip goes a long way & the staff work hard so be generous) The room was clean & comfortable. Entertainment was good.. The a la carte restaurant was a treat.. we went to the italian. it was delicious. 4 courses so id recommend you have a smaller lunch that day unless your a big eater with a big stomach.
The cocktails are not what i class as cocktails, but drinkable My only complaint is that on 3 days (out of 7) the sea was filthy… i spent hours removing floating rubbish from the sea by hand & putting it in the bin.. I won’t go into detail with the rubbish i cleared but it was bad.. & no one wants to swim with rubbish . beautiful beach, clear sea but rubbish floating everywhere. My OCD was up there & i didn’t mind doing a beach clean, as it kept me busy. i’m fully aware the hotel have no control as to what’s dumped on the ocean & what gets washed up,, apparently it gets washed up from italy. but it’s not nice swimming with plastic, rubbish & things i won’t mention.. When they have bad wash up days it wouldn’t take much to have a member of staff to go in with a net to collect it all. The beach staff & guests who were watching me did thank me for my efforts. i felt i was on a losing battle but i felt every little helped & i was doing my bit to keep our oceans clean. Humans are destroying our beautiful beaches & oceans. 4 days the ocean was clean so it wasn’t every day .

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately encountered an issue that I believe should not occur in a 5-star establishment. The air conditioner in my room was not working, and despite reporting it, it took an unreasonably long time to resolve the situation. The delay in offering a room change caused significant discomfort, and I feel this level of service does not reflect the standards expected from a hotel of your category. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work to ensure quicker and more proactive solutions for future guests.

Verified reviewAn absolutely fabulous place to stay - amazing facilities and great food. So many different options for every meal - and they change each day. The staff are excellent. So friendly and helpful and all want you to have a great stay. The head chef at the restaurant was so kind to our daughter who has a nut allergy and took her around and showed her what she could have to make her feel comfortable and safe. We had a suite and it was a great size for four of us - a real luxury!

Verified reviewVery good choice of food. Location.Staff in restaurant excellent Sami Memat and Mohamed who looked after us.The Piano man was brilliant highlight of our evening 2 hours non stop.
Too many noisy children running around unsupervised. Hotel staff should have stopped it. The hotel was too busy for us on this occasion unlike our previous visit which was much quieter. We noticed it was much more family orientated with lots of children.

Recommended by a colleague, the hotel fulfilled all our expectations: nice food, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, great mattress and huge bed, friendly service, all included, ...
