USA3 Bewertungen2 „Hilfreich“-Klicks„Dirty, dilapidated, dangerous, dishonest“Staying at this villa ruined our trip to Djerba. It was dirty - hair on the beds and the floors, dead bugs in the sink and toilet, food smears on the walls and kitchen drawers, dirty dishes, dirty footprints and smudges in the shower, debris in the pool. We told the owner who sent somebody to clean, and I thought she would clean the whole place since it seemed it hadn’t been cleaned but she only cleaned the floors. I admit there was some miscommunication, but if your cleaner is called back to the house you’d think they would notice how filthy the place was. It was also generally in poor condition - half of the ceiling lights were out or flickering, sconces were ripped and falling off the wall, there were cigarette burns in the table cloth, and a bunch of the outdoor furniture had holes in it. The curtain rod in the bedroom fell down because it didn’t have finials to hold it in place, and when the property manager came to “fix it” he just hung it back up rather than replace it with a rod with finials. He was very rude overall and ignored several of the issues I pointed out. So of course as soon as we tried to open the curtains it fell back down. The showers do not have curbs, so the water spills all over the floor after just a few minutes of showering, creating a very dangerous environment for falls. The oven also hadn’t been cleaned because when I opened the door after preheating it a bunch of smoke bellowed out, and neither of the smoke alarms went off, making me question if they even had batteries in them. The villa also does not have wifi, as it says in the listing. You have to walk to the overpriced cafe to access wifi. The beach is NOT nice, and the villa is off a main road so you can hear the traffic from the balcony. I truly don’t know how this place got such high reviews, but it should not even be allowed on this platform.
The landscaping in the backyard and outside of the surrounding villas was very beautiful.
