Air bnb type independent accommodation. Great position, excellent hosts, charming room, communal kitchen and washing machine. We were kindly given late checkout at no charge. Room at the top is recommended for its spaciousness.

No lift but not really a problem.

The hotel was so beautiful and had everything we needed. We stayed in the Olive Room which was more of a suite and felt very luxurious, especially considering how reasonably priced it was! The hotel is in a fantastic location, Kadiköy is a very cool area with so many cafes/shops/restaurants/bars. Emre was so kind and messaged us every morning in case we needed anything. A perfect stay ⭐️

The host (Emre) is amazing. He communicated with me since my booking, and during my stay messaged me everyday offering help. The place is very clean and cozy, and well located in Kadıköy (some meters from the ferry to other main spots of the city). Moreover, it adopts a series of sustainable measures.

It can be a bit noisy as the house is 150 years old, but this didn't bother me.

Very nice location, very well equipped and charming rooms, extremely friendly and helpful owners, making it a real joy to stay with them.

Not much, the room was a bit squeezed but that goes with that type of house.

Good location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to a large range of places to eat and drink and only a short boat trip from the main attractions.

The location and cleanliness were all very good. Especially, the communication of the business owners was excellent.I will definitely stay here on every trip to Istanbul.

The building and the room were very beautiful, there is a small shared kitchen with all utilities. The room feels modern, there is AC. Best part is the host, he was very nice, gave us nice recommendations and was very happy to help us with any issues. He was very easy to contact.

The room is small so there is not much space to store things or to move around. It wasn’t a big problem for us because we only slept in the room but it was inconvenient.

We stayed in the big room with a little balcony, absolutely charming. Emre the owner was super nice and helpful in every way, he gave us marvelous tips to make our trip amazing. The shared kitchen is perfect for people that want to cook. We were welcomed with delicious Turkish coffee. We loved the neighborhood! Calm, with the most amazing bakeries! Would definitely come back

Everything. Perfect location on the quieter noethern side of kadiköy. Beautiful and well equipped apartment. Emre is a lovely and helpful host, going above and beyond for us.

I'll start by saying that I've had this hotel in my favorites for a long time and I was waiting for a trip to Istanbul to stay there!) The hotel completely met all my expectations! And I'll definitely come back! The room is wonderful, very beautiful, clean, comfortable. It's hard to stop and take photos in it. The owner Erme is infinitely friendly! She recommended us a great place for breakfast near the hotel - Mijgan. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants something special and a positive experience!

Emre could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Really great. Our room was beautiful on the top floor and super comfortable for 3 of us. Great location for real Istanbul. Loved it

Absolutely nothing

The hotel had lots of character, check-in was simple, and our room was very cute. Our host Emre could not do enough to help, and the common area had lots of handy supplies if you'd forgotten to bring anything. The neighbourhood was full of nice cafes and restaurants and felt much more relaxed than where we'd previously stayed on the European side of Istanbul. It was also close to the ferry port and the metro station, which made getting to the airport and attractions really straightforward. We couldn't fault it.

I had a wonderful 10-day stay at Tina’s No. 8 in Istanbul. The accommodation was excellent — clean, beautifully designed, and well-equipped. The surrounding area felt very safe and offered plenty of great and affordable restaurants. The owners were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to support their guests. I especially appreciated the access to free filtered water, laundry facilities, cooking options, and useful supplies. Everything was just perfect – I would definitely stay here again!

Honestly, there was nothing negative about my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations – from the warm hospitality to the thoughtful amenities. I truly felt at home and wouldn’t change a thing.

Kadikoy has a special vibe ...and our host at Tilas was very helpful. If you want a homey feel then this is it ! Very tastefully put together. It was our first visit to Turkey and Tilas House made it so special.
