The location is in the middle of a touristic street. That’s why, there was noise from outiside until 2am(?) so it made it harder to sleep.

The room is pretty nice, having a larger size compared with standard hotel rooms. Breakfast was very good, offering a wide range of choices. The staff is friendly and helpful. Larger (than a normal minibar) fridge in the room, giving you flexibility to store drinks. Even when there is no parking owned by the hotel, you can easily find places to park close. Only 3 minutes walking to the beachside and restaurants.

Missing balcony. The rooms itself it is great but not having a balcony could be a minus when you want to relax a bit in the evening. Also a bit tricky to dry your beach stuff (clothes, towels). Pretty noisy in the evening due to several bars located near the hotel. We were lucky to get a room on the back of the building, where you don't hear the noise so bad (but the view is not great).

Nil. The property was close to the beach and lively restaurants , but 5km from the port and city centre. We walked from port, but some people might prefer to be closer to city centre??

A bit loud at night, not necessarily a negative but the area is definitely a tourist beach town

Exceptionally clean. Photos don’t do justice to the hotel. It’s not huge hotel but rooms are absolutely new and clean. Bathroom has rain shower, bath gel, hand wash, hair dryer, body scrub, bathroom slippers. Rooms are cleaned everyday, towels changed, water bottles and tea facilities topped up. Very central and beach just 5 min away. Shopping and restaurants 2 min down the road. Supermarket round the corner. We didn’t need to get any taxi to go anywhere else. Very decent breakfast for the price included in the stay. Very friendly staff. We have stayed in all inclusive in the past for over 20 years but this place for the price is perfect.

The room is clean and interior is great

Noise cancellation is terrible. I couldn't sleep because the music in the restaurant opposite was playing so loudly until night that it was just awful. Unfortunately, the administrator didn't even have earplugs. I had to sleep with headphones. This hotel can be a good solution for anyone staying in this city, but buy yourself earplugs in advance.

So glad we stayed at Calais beach and not in town! Just a few blocks from the beach staff made sure to give us a quiet room not facing the clubs across the street. Our room was modern, quiet, and had a nice balcony. Great breakfast with much variety! Staff were welcoming and helpful with suggestions for swimming locations.

Not much to not like, just that they didn’t have beach towels and had to go across to a partner property.

Good location, close to the beach. The facilities are as described. The rooms are clean and well equipped.

Some sort of padding should be added to the low loft walls, even though I was very careful I bumped my head quite badly and judging by the chipped paint on that wall I was not the first one.

Clean, fresh renovation, well equipped with all necessary appliances. The most open and supportive staff, all questions were solved immediately! Close to Calis beach. We are grateful to the wonderful personnel of Alesta Seaside Residence for a wonderful rest! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
