Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. QatarRooms are a bit small, and breakfast could be better with more food variety.
The location is great, the beach is clean, and a cosy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

IrelandBeds are small. The hotel is aware but beds were custom made for the rooms so its difficult to change. WiFi available but not great. This is possibly not the fault of the hotel though. A lot of UK guests were there after getting their Turkey teeth.
Great location, right on the beach. Very good facilities. E.g. plenty of pool and beach loungers available for the number of guests, so no problem getting a 'good spot' on both the beach and at the pool. Nice breakfast options and a large variety. Friendly and helpful staff. Very happy with our room and view. We were allowed to change with no fuss and the guy genuinely wanted us to choose a room that we were happy with. Rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard.

The hotel management should do proper maintenance of the hotel. Aircons are old and don’t work. Gym is poorly maintained

GreeceI had a very pleasant stay at Amvrosia Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made a difference! The location is also a big plus—close to key attractions and easy to get around. The spa services were a highlight of our trip, very relaxing and well-organized. The breakfast had a good variety, with fresh and tasty options to start the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

IrelandAs the room was directly facing the sea, there was 1 or 2 nights of strong wind which was louder than we would have liked against the balcony window. However, it is just due to the time of year, as most people travel to Turkey in the summer season, this will not be a problem. Just something to consider if coming over winter.
My family and I came to turkey for a family event and stayed at the Ambrosia hotel for just over a week, we have never stayed at the hotel before but are familiar with them as we have travelled to Bodrum a couple of times in the last few years, however this is the first time we have came here not during the summer season. As it is approaching Christmas, the hotel has a very cosy feel to it, lots of stunning decorations up and nice amenities to for the colder winter season. We highly recommend booking a massage/Hamam treatment in the hotel spa, which is reasonably priced and very very relaxing. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool which is heated, perfect for the December weather. Food was nice, lots of nice variety, although we only ate dinner at the hotel 2 nights, the other nights we decided to go out to Bitez, where there are lots of great restaurants and cafes. The room was a great size, nice view too, looking directly over the sea. It was stunning. The room has lots of great features, great wifi speeds, nice tea/coffee station and comfortable beds with a choice of different pillow types.

IrelandUnfortunately the sauna and Turkish bath were closed for maintenance. However, there are jacuzzis and steam rooms which makes up for it a lot.
Loved our stay here. The whole place has been designed really nicely, with a traditional Aegean vibe. The rooms are nice with good beds and a good shower. There are also really nice custom toiletries in the bathroom. Housekeeping leave mineral water everyday. There’s a lovely Turkish breakfast included, with a good selection available and the restaurant has a great view of the beach. There is also an indoor restaurant that is used when the weather gets a bit colder.

United KingdomThe business centres computers are a little outdated therefore they can be a bit slow, although it is not a massive issue at all. Some of the equipment in the gym is a little outdated too, although there are also some nice workout gear.
This is a very nice hotel, the reception/indoor living area is stunning. The Ambrosia has great facilities throughout pool table and dart board in the lobby, lots of tvs and private sitting areas in the lobby, a nice library that is secluded and quiet, a decent business centre with access to printers/photocopiers etc. The hotel also has a great indoor pool that we used a lot because it was too cold to use the outdoor pool (indoor pool is also heated), there is a good-sized gym as well with a good selection of equipment. The indoor restaurant is stunning and is used for the breakfast service, and the beach restaurant is used for dinner (it has nice gas heaters and the staff will offer you blankets if you are cold). The Ambrosia hotel is very welcoming and the staff make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, the reception staff are very helpful (and they will book taxis to and from the hotel whenever you need.)

IrelandLovely hotel and a fantastic location. I'm a regular traveller to Turkey and Bodrum is definitely one of my favourite places in the country. In the last decade or so Bodrum has been getting exponentially more popular, and in the last 2 or 3 years especially, it has really become one of the go-to places. If you are looking for a place that is tourist-friendly whilst also maintaining a strong cultural background. Bodrum is incomparible. We came at the start of november and stayed for 6 days. The Ambrosia does very well to keep their guests entertained and comfortable in the off season months. The hotel was not busy at all, only a handful of different parties staying here due to the summer being long gone. The spa in the autumn/winter time is amazing, it is perfect to start your mornings off. The weather was on the most part great when we were there, 2 days of rain but it was only a light shower in the morning and then the sun dried it up by lunch time. Highly recommend coming here in the peak summer months (may-september) as the place is booming.

United KingdomThe beds were a little firm, and not as comfortable as I would have liked. However, the hotel does offer a pillow service and you can request different types of pillows depending on your preference which was a lovely touch.
My partner and I spent a week at the Ambrosia, it was one of our most relaxing and peaceful holidays in the last 30 years! We came in the last week of October, the first thing about coming to turkey at this time of year is the weather is actually bearable, especially for a pair of oldies like us. During the day the weather is nice 20 degrees, not as intense as it would be in mid-summer, and during the evening the temperature drops to a nice 15 degrees, however, it does feel colder than that so appropriate autumn clothes are needed. The hotel itself is marvellous, every single corner of this place has great attention to detail, it seriously felt more like a five star hotel than a four star. The restaurant is nice and clean with good food, the lobby is very warm and inviting (it also has nice games to pass the time like a pool table, darts boards, an array of board games for all ages and a nice library. The beachfront is gorgeous, starting every morning off with your breakfast and a coffee here, it doesn't get much better :D The hotel is in a lovely area too, there are plenty of nice places in the town to go for dinner, drinks, coffee etc. Even at this time of year we still were not left with nothing to keep us busy. We would highly highly recommend this hotel for your future travels, it is perfect for all age groups.

United KingdomThis hotel is top top tier. Even if I am nitpicking, I can't think of a negative to say about this place. We came mid-October, and at times, it felt as if we had the hotel to ourselves really early in the morning. Lovely homely atmosphere in the beach restaurant of the Hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and will do everything they can to assist you with whatever you may need. The hotel facilities are unreal too, the hotel spa looks amazing, we did not get any massages (which we now regret), however the sauna and jacuzzis are free to use for hotel guests which we did most mornings.

United KingdomHad a great stay at the Ambrosia Hotel. Stayed here for a week with my partner. Can't think of anything particularly bad about the hotel at all. The hotel has everything you need, gym/sauna/steam room/jacuzzi included. The hotel spa offers an array of treatments at extra costs. The beach is great, nice swings out in the water and a cool raft you can swim out to.

United KingdomI have stayed in dozens of hotels in my life; urban/rural/seaside, etc. The Ambrosia Beach Hotel is 100% the best hotel I have ever stayed at, all things considered. It is situated right on the coast in Bodrum. The restaurant is maybe 20 meters away from the sea. The hotel is located right in the middle of a U-shaped cut-out on the water, so there are stunning 180 degree views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Considering the location, the recent price increases in Turkey as a whole and the facilities of the hotel in relation to the price, it is insane value for money.

United KingdomNot. A. Thing.
We visited the Ambrosia hotel for a few nights, wish we could have stayed longer but we were just passing through Bodrum. We are frequent travellers to the area, first time staying at this hotel and it has been an absolute delight. Remarkable location, right on the coast surrounded by mountains and you can see some greek islands way in the horizon, genuinely the nicest views I have ever seen from a hotel. The Ambrosia has lots of facilities for all your needs, great spa which offers curated spa packages for all types of travellers, good gym with plenty of equipment for a hotel too. The food/drink was nice and relatively well priced for the area. Rooms were nice and clean, housekeeping came regularly (as much as you want too). And all staff are very friendly. Also most nights there is live music at the dinner service.

The location is perfect, right on the coast with a big private beach and a large pool, so there are always plenty of sunbeds. The food was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly. The kids loved the play park, and the spa is a must-visit. There’s lots to do in the area too. We had an incredible stay and can’t wait to return!
