Delayed /no response to emails -4-6hrs Shuttle to & from airport too expensive The constant NOISE of drilling /road repair in the street from early morning till late night! NO GOOD SLEEP. No entertainment facilities-bar -music/DJ to relax after hours without leaving hotel. Air condition noisy and leaking in room -dangerous . No toiletry supplied -no toothpaste /shower cap /shaver. No iron in room No daily water supplied to room. Storage facilities unprotected.

The street was being redone. The front sidewalk was torn up. They put a cinder block and another smaller brick on top as a step. Not safe and our first impression of the hotel. Was difficult to communicate with staff. I realize English is not their language but it’s a hotel, should be able to communicate. The spa seemed disorganized, staff was not very nice, could barely communicate with anyone. Ran out of locker space in ladies dressing room, gave us a locker in men’s dressing room. Housekeeper knocked on our door super early one morning. Did not have do not disturb sign on the door, but was very early. Was looking forward to a good breakfast but it was awful. Terrible coffee, warm milk, orange juice wasn’t real, food was nasty, except the cucumbers and tomato were ok. Canned fruit. Small shower, vinyl bottom.

Road works outside at night as too hot to work during day. Slightly noisy below our room but we understand these repairs need doing. Hotel can't be in control of works to the street

No window view just a brick wall , I had booked 3 rooms for 8 nights and expected better , bathrooms are tired , not much soundproofing , heard doors go all night and cleaner Hoovers outside room early every day

The waiting staff, spoke no English. As an international hotel, the services offered by the supervisor during dinner was very poor and a bit aggressive.

There is only one thing I would like to say for Hotel Management. New hotel refurbishment is fantastic, but if Housekeeping will not take care of the rooms, and will not clean up to the standard- you will need to do refurbishment very soon again, and you will have a lot of not nice reviews from the guests in future.

It was my first stay in Amethyst Hotel. Who is coming for business - it's a PERFECT LOCATION! Hotel staff are very friendly, polite and understanding, very professional and helpful. I had some issues with the room, and everything has been sorted straight away. Very appreciate! I stayed in room 701 and had a sea view. In the room: tea/coffee facilities, bottles of water complimentary, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, good water pressure, TV, very comfy bed and bedding, good lighting in the room and bathroom. Public transport is close to the hotel. Historical places also in 5 minutes walk. During the night, it was very quiet in the hotel, and I didn't hear neighbours at all, but the hotel was almost fully booked.

Good location about 1km from the grand bazar. Hotel public areas are clean and well decorated. Excellent breakfast buffet and reasonable choice of evening meals.

Steps up to the entrance was inpractical travelling with a child and a buggy. Wifi took a while to work and there was no time indicated about room service. Room was a little small and the beds were hard.

Fantastic location, very nice hotel, lovely big pool, good breakfast. Bags were brought up for us. Very clean. The Spa manager was so friendly and welcoming. She was very good with our toddler and held her as we both changed. She took the time to encourage our daughter to explore the childrens pool.
