Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe had a double room which was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and we enjoyed exvellent breakfasts. On our last night, we upgraded to the Zeus suite with swimming pool, hammam jacuzzi and shower. The suite is enormous and we enjoyed the watery luxuries, but we did feel a bit claustrophobic in the morning after a night in a windowless room with no sunlight. That is, of course, the nature of caves, and does not in any way detract from the amazing hospitality we recieved from our hosts. The view from the breakfast room and balcony is superb, especially at dawn. We can highly recommend the Calypso Cave.

Breakfast was extremely good and they prepare the main course upon your choice which I really liked it. I would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to stay there in the future.

We stayed in Calypso for 3 days. The rooms are very nicely and elegantly designed. We had an outstanding welcome from our hosts, we are so grateful for their kindness, we felt like home and with friends. Go with closed eyes to this amazing place, you won’t be disappointed. (The breakfast are amazing as well !!)

IndonesiaLast week I stayed at Calypso Suites Cave in Urgup and it was a pleasant experience. They have a room with a hot spring bath-up that is perfect for us after doing adventure activities in Cappadocia. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful whatever you need. At that time, we rented an automatic car at a reasonable price for 1 day. The rooms they have are also very spacious and affordable to live in.

NetherlandsFirst of all there is no air conditioning in every room. There is also no parking spot you have to bring all your stuff by yourself to your room. There is no help or any service. There is no air in the room we did stay 2 days but it was horrible. No privacy you can literally hear the television or talking people. Yes there is a jacuzzi but believe me you're not going to want to use it! Because it is not clean and also there is no ventilation in the bathroom. Please if you don’t want to mess up your vacation do not stay in this hotel. There are many better hotels in this area!
