At night, the light sensors were not the most responsive while climbing the spiral staircase. For an older/infirm guest, this may present a hazard. The street cats would often wail, but this isn't really something that can be avoided in Istanbul & isn't the responsibility of the apartment.

Mehet was a very gracious host, kind and considerate. He would greet you at the rooftop terrace with tea/coffee of the morning were you to go up for a view and some quite to read etc before you start your day. He was more than accommodating. The area is in a great location, just a 3 minute walk to the sultanmet. Views of the bospheros were exceptional. Clean and comfortable, at a very affordable price

Mehmet was so accommodating. My flights baggage took too long and he waited up late for me. He was very helpful and kind and made my stay very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only noise was some gulls which I loved and the prayers which I had planned to hear as my wake up call :) Really happy with this choice, the view was incredible and the location was fantastic! Cigarettes smell in a room when somebody was smoking, but it's understandable since the building was very old.

Very good stay for such money. It was clean, comfortable, everything was working, the host - Mehmet, was very helpful and hospitable, he cleaned the room every day. There is a great terrace upstairs with an amazing view.

I cannot think of anything that could have been done better

Firstly, the location was amazing. A five minute walk to the blue mosque and close to many of the main tourist attractions. The rooms have an ocean view and an even better view can be found on the roof terrace, where you can look out onto the sea of Marmaris. The rooms were cleaned everyday and had all the facilities you could expect from an apartment. The free WiFi was fast as well. What really made our stay memorable was the host - Mehmet. He was extremely helpful and would always make sure that we were looked after and were enjoying our stay. His advice at the start of the trip made a few things a lot easier for us on our first day so we could enjoy it stress free. I definitely recommend staying here, especially with how good the price was.

Our stay at Camelot apartments was fantastic! Is a clean property, good location, and most important staff is amazing. Mehmet was so friendly and kind, he helped us with transport and a lot of info about istanbul. He give us free coffee and tea whenever we wanted. The location is very good, a lot of restaurants near, grand bazar at 5 minutes walking, tranvay at 5 minutes walk . Basically I had a very nice experience staying at Camelot apartments.

Though the property manager is on-site, there is no reception. It wasn't a problem for us, but be aware that receiving the keys could be troublesome for others.

The location is perfect for those wanting to visit the typical Istanbul sites (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc.). The room was very spacious for two people and the view from our room was great. Small amenities (shampoo, shower gel) were also provided in ample amounts. The property manager was the one who met us and provided the keys, as well as carrying our luggage up the stairs.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the room was not thoroughly cleaned as there was a lot of dust and some papers on the floor. Moreover, we had to endure some noise throughout the night which was a bit disturbing and made it difficult for us to sleep. We believe that the door in front of the bed in our room presumably led to some kind of machine room.

The location of the apartment is fantastic. We were able to reach it easily from the airport and also we were near 0the main tourist attractions, numerous restaurants, and public transportation. The apartment also has a lovely terrace with a nice view of the sea, where we could enjoy coffee and tea. The gentleman who manages the property was exceptionally kind and friendly. Although the room is in the basement, there is a big window to outside, which allows the places to have natural light.

Very steep stairs, probably too steep for elderly people. If you have huge heavy luggage, it will be tricky to pull it up those stairs. The studio apart had a very narrow shower, had to squeeze into the shower.

Location is perfect, less than 15 mins walk to touristic destinations. Good value for money. Nice view and space on rooftop terrace. Surrounded by eating places.

It was a very good location, all the places we wanted to visit were in a few minutes walk, good restaurants nearby as well. We had a room with seaview and there was a nice terrace on the top floor, my wife liked it for photos Thank you Mehmet for amazing service and hospitality! Would recommend to my friends to stay here and definitely will stay here again on my last trip
