New hotel, amazing location, and clean comfy rooms. Delicious breakfast. Staff was polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Sultan Ahmet.

A bit noisy, you could hear the cars passing on the street in front of the hotel as well as the guests in the nearby rooms. We also had a very unpleasant experience with the taxi to airport. We asked the front desk to call for a taxi and the taxi guy totally ripped us off- if from the airport to the hotel we paid 1.000 turkish lira, from the hotel to the airport we paid nearly 1.400 lira although they initially said it will be a fixed price of 1.000- 1.100. The taxi car itself was miserable, the taxi driver almost crashed a few times, drove on the highway with the window opened, hand through the window. Not hotels fault, however they should advise guests against using taxi services or not offer the calling taxi option at all.

Central location, clean, very nice staff. Large rooms (we booked connection rooms), good breakfast choices. A complementary snack - nuts, turkish delight, etc. was waiting for us in the rooms when we checked in.

The staff was very helpful but lacked a sense of urgency when it came to parking the car inside. We arrived at the hotel at 7:30 pm and the car wasn't parked inside till the next morning after 9 am. The vehicle sat out on the street in front of the hotel, although safe, still not inside like the 15 euro a night I paid for. I also left a mark down for cleanliness. The room was cleaned everyday and the towels changed and bed made. I did notice a yellow stain on the bed sheet the first night of our stay. I looked to see if the bedsheet would be changed and for 3 nights it wasn't. Do not expect to get a new bedsheet every night.

Location location location! The hotel has an excellent location with very easy access to most attractions and a corner away from a metra stop which connects you with all of Istanbul. The rest of the experience was excellent. Hotel is quiet, modern, and for the most part very clean. I'd revisit but won't bring a car. Excellent breakfast

Air con was on winter mode, so heating only, it would have been ideal if we could have used the cold setting. Other than this, everything was perfect.

The location was amazing, very close to all the main amenities in Sultan Ahmet. The property itself was modern, clean and was not over crowded.

They follow the tradition of not turning on the air conditioner before a certain date regardless whether the days were warm so the room was stuffy unless we opened the windows.

The hotel ammenities and location are great. It was very convenient to reach landmarks in the area either by walking or by taking the tram, so I was able to cover many places even if my stay was not very long. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. The front-desk staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would like to thank Ethem, Farkan, Mehmet, and Salih for their hospitality. They were able to assist me in English and offer advice about what to visit in Istanbul. The hotel also arranged transportation from and to the airport upon request, which made things a lot easier.

The staff members are very helpful and nice. As we arrived quite earlier than the check-in time, we were offered to have breakfast and coffee, which was a super cute gesture, given the early time. The location is perfect, close to tram and there is a metro station, which requires a 5min walk. The facility itself is new and clean, the room was very comfortable, equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast offers quite a lot of options, I love Turkish bread and cheese, grilled olives, so I was quite happy with the selection offered. I would highly recommend Carina Gold Hotel to everyone who’s looking to book a nice hotel with friendly staff members and exquisite service.

You are quite in the center of it all so the tourist traps can be taxing.

In the whirlwind of spontaneity that defines the very essence of travel, I found myself orchestrating a last-minute booking. The hotel responded immediately and accommodating my wishes— a cradle for my infant and the luxury of early check-in, graciously devoid of the almighty dollar's extra tug. Ethem and Mehmet, the incredibly helpful staff, turned my urgent questions about the city into a wonderful adventure. With their advice, we explored many historical sites and I was even fortunate to end the day in an ancient hamam just around the corner. This hotel is like a breath of fresh air, clean and with a design that's both modern and appealing. The breakfast is particularly impressive, offering a wide range of tastes from savory to sweet, including delicious, hearty bread that would be the envy of the Swiss. Windows were facing on the road side and it was a bit disturbance noise, but pulling the dark courtains helped to reduce it.

Very good location, very clean, very good staff (Mehmet, Ethem, Ozgur and all the others including waiters). We arranged also shuttle transfer from/to airport which went perfect. Breakfast was very well organised and aboundance of choises.Thanks a lot!
