Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaThe Wi-Fi didn’t work very well in the room.
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent — very rich, delicious, and featuring a variety of Turkish specialties. Parking is available for 5 euros per day. Overall, a nice place with tasty breakfast and clean rooms.

BahrainUnfortunately the Wifi was not working for the second half of my stay, we were told it's a city issue. Staff tried to help through their own network, but it only worked in the hallway or down at the reception. The proximity of clubs and pubs were not welcomed by myself but it's not a hotel issue, rather a location, but in general with police presence drunk people were kept in check. I once ran into two drunk girls on my way to the mosque at dawn and they were fighting and cussing and one of them crossed the main street running and almost got ran over by a taxi.
I paid less than $400 for a two week stay, so to ground the review, I would say for that price I got what I needed, nothing fancy, just functional. The room was small but clean, staff was nice and accommodating, location was close to the mosque (50meters), metro (7 minutes walk), grocery shopping, pharmacy, and Ulus market where you can find pretty much anything (food, hardware, pets, clothes, etc.). There's constant police presence due to several clubs and pubs in the neighborhood.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaMy wife and I spent three days at Dab Ulus Hotel. The hotel is outstanding. The rooms are new, everything is as in the pictures. The breakfast is excellent. And the best part of the hotel is the staff. Nehir, Ahmed, Nasir, Soner and other staff always welcome you with a smile and try to help. We have no complaints.

NetherlandsBed form is not as much as in a soft form. It's hard, I mean when you lay down it doesn't take your shape of your back side as an example. There is window but it is not good to open but air condition is working very well. For the breakfast they arrange everything. 2 option egg( scramble and boiled), a few cheese option (feta, white cheese) and also few fruit option too(watermelon, grape). For the money for one night it is worth it but if you gonna stay you can arrange another hotel cause if you want to wake up with a good form maybe you can't because of the bed form.

CanadaThe only small issues I had was the room smelled faintly of sewage and the air conditioner made loud noises which was only really problematic while I was trying to sleep.
I had a lovely three night stay here as a solo female traveler. I found the staff to be kind and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and the included breakfast was varied and delicious (the menemen was particularly yummy!). It's really convenient having a cafe downstairs as well to grab a cappuccino. When I first arrived, my room didn't lock from the inside and they quickly changed me to another room. Some have commented that the location was questionable - yes, there are lots of men standing around the street outside (some drinking alcohol), but I didn't feel unsafe while I was staying there and found it to be a great location for exploring the old town. I was, however, back at the hotel by 9pm every day so I'm not sure what it's like later at night. I went by foot to Antikabir (about an hour or so) and to Kizilay (about 40 mins) - so I think it's a great location if you like to walk. I would stay here again!

BangladeshQuite close to metro station and city square but the area surrounding the hotel is a bit run down. Lots of pubs.
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Average breakfast. Room spacious clean modern. Spacious toilet. Clean. Quite close to metro station and city square. The adjacent kebab place serves awesome kebab at very reasonable price. Let us check in quite early as the rooms were ready. Big shout out to the staff there.

AzerbaijanThe location of the hotel is not safe. When I told anyone where the hotel was located, they said that the area was not safe. This created a sense of fear and I was worried when returning to the hotel late at night.
The hotel staff are friendly and very kind people. They took good care of us when we had a problem, I thank them for that.
