There was no intention to overcharge you. At that moment another guest was checking in, so our staff invited you to sit at the common area and wait. During this time we had a friendly conversation with you and You mentioned that you are a student and need to save money, and our staff replied with a lighthearted comment: “This small amount won’t make us rich anyway, no problem sir.” Everyone laughed at that moment include you so it was clearly understood as a joke face to face. If this was later misunderstood, we sincerely apologize. We always aim to provide a respectful and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and we regret that you felt otherwise. We were surprised to see such a low score for location, as our property is in the city centre within walking distance of public transport and major attractions. Explaining the specific issues you experienced would have been more helpful, both for us to improve our service and for future guests to have accurate information. As soon as you contacted us via WhatsApp regarding your lost earphones, we immediately checked the security cameras not once, but twice reviewing both the common areas and your room in detail. Unfortunately, we did not find any JBL earphones or anything matching your description. We take lost and found items very seriously. Our front desk and housekeeping team routinely check and store all found items securely. However, sometimes items can be misplaced in personal luggage or forgotten elsewhere in the city, which is unfortunately beyond our control. Regarding cleanliness, please note that our restrooms and shared spaces are cleaned and checked regularly every day. We strive to maintain a high standard, and many guests have positively highlighted our hygiene. We also noticed that you rated our staff a 5, which we assume may be related to the earphones incident. Nonetheless, we want to reassure you that we did everything within our power to help resolve the situation promptly.
