Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United StatesThe loading/drop off area is very tight. There was a lot of traffic caused on the one way road that made you have to get on and off quickly from a car/taxi. The Glens restaurant does not have any outdoor seating despite having a really nice area dedicated. It's like a huge missed opportunity to a make the area a small cafe or seating area. (Apparently, they are changing the concept or figuring out a better way to do it), I hope it gets done better for the next time if I stay. The reception and entry area is very cramped and can fill up quickly, especially when people are checking in and out. The regular/standard rooms are nice but also very tight/small, it's good size for one person. The standard rooms also have a "french balcony" but it can barley fit one or two people standing. This is more like an excellent four star hotel (that happens to have an extra star). The ACs also had some problems, but they were quick to resolve it. The system is a bit strange/confusing where they can also see the AC usage from the reception and manually turn it on and off. One of the rooms we were in had a broken safe, so we luckily just used the other rooms safe. Also, the company they used for the transportation was not great. They were at the wrong arrival gate at the airport and handled our language poorly. I'd recommend arranging it outside or getting an uber/taxi instead. It lead to a bad first impression of the hotel to be using that service.
The location is definitely the best part about the hotel! Easy to get around and very close to a lot of shopping and dining options. The staff were all very nice and always tried their best to accommodate. Special thanks to Cemil (Jamil), he was super helpful, always looked after us, and helped us with our bags. Taha at the reception was also great and considerate, and the staff in the breakfast area were all very nice. It is a small boutique hotel, so the bigger rooms with terrace balconies are definitely worth it. And the shower at the hotel was 10/10, I'd recommend for a short stay or for a solo trip!

the street of the hotel is amazing with all the nice shops (Prada, Gucci etc.. so you feel you are in the nice part of Istanbul) nice shops, cafes, bars and resto around. the staff are amazing each and everyone of them very friendly, communicative, good English and they always recommend nice places to go to and orders taxi etc .. breakfast is really nice not too crowded. it was my 2nd time there and will be the hotel ill go to in the future for sure.
