Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. SerbiaUnfortunately, the wi-fi in the rooms was pretty bad, it was almost impossible to use the internet, because it took a very long time to load a single page. However, it worked pretty well on the ground floor, so you can use it if you go down and sit in the lounge area. There was also some mold between the tiles in the shower, because the bathroom ventilation didn’t work. So in order to dry it, I had to open the bathroom door and wait. It was also hard to dry the washed clothes.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English well! I really enjoyed their hospitality! I booked two rooms for my family and both were nice and clean. Our rooms were opposite, so we had no problems with that. The beds were comfy and there was no noise that would make it hard to sleep, the curtains also blocked enough light to have a good rest at night and in the morning. There were no issues with electrical devices - the AC, hairdryer and TV were working well, we also asked for the iron to iron the clothes and got it quickly. We really enjoyed breakfasts, the food was fresh, there was a good variety of choice, greens and great desserts, as well as tea, coffee and juices. The menu was also different every day, so we had a chance to try some traditional Turkish food and desserts right at the hotel. The hotel location is very convenient, there are two small shops with food and some necessities next to the hotel as well as the exchange office. It takes about 6 minutes to get to the tram station. You can get to Sultanahmet Square in 15 minutes using the tram or in 30 minutes on foot, which I think is great.

MaldivesSome of the facilities in the room like the bathroom needs an upgrade. Although it was clean, it didn't appear spotless because of how old the facilities in the bathroom were. The rooms were not soundproof at all either.
The breakfast was excellent and the location was close enough to different metros and buses so it was easy to get around. The staff provided us with a complementary fruit platter which we appreciated

The location is great, you can reach all golden horn by foot. The stuff was nice and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good.

NetherlandsWe stayed at Hamit Hotel Istanbul for 9 nights with 5 people and were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Breakfast had a wide variety, and everything was well organized. The location is excellent, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and major attractions are within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and you can book great tours directly through the hotel. Everything was well organized, we would definitely stay here again!

CroatiaAlmost same offer for breakfast every day, but they have one different salty pastry every day and different fresh dessert every day. And some kind of shower gel could be nice.
Very good bed and meaty pillows, and nice and very diverse buffet offer at breakfast, big shower cabin, and nice quiet street with a lot of restaurants. Cleaning and towels can be changed every day, and there is small electronic light sign people can turn on in the morning for not disturbing or for room cleaning and that was respected. And refrigerator with small freezer is always a nice bonus, as well as electric kettle for boiling water.

RomaniaIt wasn't the cleanest.There were strange stains. The furniture looks old and overused as do the towels. You can hear all the noise (hallway, room above, outside). It is quite noisy.
The room was spacious, the breakfast is ok & diverse, the staff is ok, but it dependens on who do you have at the reception. I think I got the manager at one point and it was a whole different experience. 7 min walk to the metro and 5 min walk to T1 tram that will tame you, in 4 stations to Sultanahmed Square. So it is well connected.

JordanThe room's soundproofing was poor, as we could hear noise from the other rooms. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak, especially on the 3rd and 4th floors, but since I had mobile data, it wasn't a big issue.
It was a great stay, thanks to Malik and his team for their generous support, which made our experience even better! The breakfast offered a variety of dishes that we really enjoyed. The hotel's location was excellent, being close to both Vezneciler Metro and Aksaray Tramway stations.
