Title: A Disappointing Experience – Please Read Before Booking This review is based on my personal and honest experience. First of all, I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but this time I feel compelled to do so because of how unpleasant my stay was. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is its location near the airport. That’s the only reason I’m giving it 1 star. Now for the rest—it was a nightmare. I booked this hotel for 2 nights and paid in advance. Upon arrival, I was handed the key to my room, which was on the 3rd floor. To my shock, there was no elevator, and I had to climb over 60 stairs with all my luggage—this is after a 5-hour flight, 3 hours at the airport, and 1 hour clearing immigration in Turkey. Just imagine the exhaustion. I’ll let you feel what I felt in that moment. When I finally reached my room, I found that there was no WiFi. I called the reception and politely explained the issue. The man on the phone insisted there was WiFi. I asked again if he could please check, and after putting me on hold for about 30 seconds, he replied that it was working. But clearly, that was not true—there was still no connection. That evening, I went to reception and asked the gentleman: “If I check out tomorrow instead of staying for the second night, will you refund the unused night?” He replied, “Sure, no problem.” But to my surprise, just after that conversation, I got a notification that Booking.com had charged my card and paid the hotel. I understand the payment was due—but the timing was suspicious. Why charge immediately after I mentioned checking out early? The next morning, I had a terrible breakfast (which they proudly claim is “included”) and packed my things. When I went to reception, I returned the key and reminded them about the refund. The man simply said: “No money return. Thank you.” Honestly, I didn’t want to write this review.

Breakfast was sumptuous, traditional. the extra cost for the kahve should have been informed earlier. Location suited our purpose and bonus was the proximity to the cuma pazari, the friday market, where we could take in the sounds, smells and colors of the fresh fruit, vegetable, and fish. Easy access to uber since it is on the main road. The staff Mohammed and Abla, as well as the Salman Et hotel staff Atakant and others were super eager to help and accommodate us.

Cant change currency here. Aaaah and I left behind a tub of beyaz peyniri bought at the cuma bazaar :( my bad !

Clean room, inexpensive, close to the airport.

very unreliable lock on the door. Also in the room there is a door to the outer staircase and it did not close (the lock was broken). Because of these two factors, I woke up all night from every rustle, I was afraid that someone would decide to visit me. Because I was settled by several men + there were male voices outside the door from time to time (the room was right where the reception was).
