How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe only positive thing about this hotel is that its close to the beach.
Where to start? First of all, this hotel is barely 2 stars. I don’t understand where these 4 stars came from?! The hotel is old, rooms are in bad condition, its dirty, the elevator is small, old and shuts down couple times a day. Rooms: AC is probably from 1990s. Its dirty and blows ice cold. The room is very old and has not been renovated for probably 20 years. The bathroom is old, moldy and the flush does not work properly. There is mold in the corners. The beds are dirty and very bad. We travelled with a one year old and requested a cot. We got an extra bed as the cot, wtf? Food: Mostly casseroles and chicken. Everything tastes the same. Breakfast was worst as there was ex. no fruit or breakfast that suits children. The desserts were pretty much the same every day. Only watermelon as fresh fruit. Staff: None speaks good English. You have to use every part of your body to explain what you mean. Other: The hotel as several problems with electricy. We stayed for 12 days and of those days there were probably 5-6 days where the electricity went out. I got stuck in the elevator with a small child 3 times!!! The elevator does not have any AC so guess how that felt? Not to mention if you have any sort of claustrophobia.

Verified reviewNothing, except the location. Really, avoid this place at all cost! If you are deciding whetever you want to book this hotel... DON'T! First of all when we arrived at the hotel at midnight, the 4 booked rooms were not ready, just 3 of them and above that no one recieved the room that we booked. We waited for 2 days to get the rooms we booked. They compesated us with free sunbeds and umbrellas but still the rooms were awful, broken shower, bad light, not so clean, shower dirty, no sea view as promised, no additional card for room (you need to deposti 10€) climate also dirty. The electricity went out one day for 10 times I swear it was embarrasing at the belly dance show... We've got food poisened the last day. When you wanted ice to your drink, the waiter said it was already cold-it wasnt! Young guy at the reception very unpolite and arrogant! Got stuck in the elevator which is like from WW2. Always dirty floor in the dinning room. Internet connection awful, Breakfast always same. The staff couldn't wait you to eat in peace they've already take your plate without question!! Fruit just watermelon, all days same sweets. Very cheap drinks. Coffee very bad from machine, if you wanted turkish coffee it was 3€?!! AVOID THIS PLACE if you don't want your vacation to be ruined!
EVERYTHING! AWFUL PLACE! AVOID AT ALL COST! Really nothing positive to say about this place (won't even call it the hotel)

Verified reviewThe location is great. The hotel is very close to a perfectly decent beach. The center is not close (about 2 km) but it is acceptable for a leisurely evening walk if it is not too hot.
The rooms are very bad. Old furniture, dilapidated bathroom, uncomfortable beds and the shortest I have ever seen. I asked to change rooms because the shower was leaking (the bathroom flooded after a shower), the sink was completely clogged, and the Internet in that room did not work at all. They told me that I had to wait until the next day for a room to be free even though the fifth and sixth floors were completely empty (all the rooms on those floors were open and ready). The staff was very rude. In the next room, the shower was also leaking, and the shower was on a holder thanks to some kind of plastic toothpick stuck in it to prevent the shower from falling out. The toilet bowl is loose and wobbly. The beds are also uncomfortable and too short, and the TV in both rooms is the smallest I have ever seen. The Internet was bad but it worked. It took them 3 days and 5 requests from me to fix the liquid soap/shampoo on the shower wall. The food is very bad and monotonous. Every day everything is exactly the same for breakfast/lunch/dinner, always only chicken and turkey, the choice is very small. The worst soups I've ever had. Al inclusiv is a joke. It's actually full board with the addition of bad coffee, even worse juice, beer and diluted coca-cola from 10:00 to 22:00. Breakfast is from 7:30-9:00, the so-called late breakfast from 9:00-9:30 (exactly the same as basic breakfast), lunch from 12:00-13:30, and dinner from 18:00-19:30. And no, you won't get coca-cola at the only pool bar at 09:59 or at 22:01. You also won't get anything for breakfast at 09:31, nor for lunch at 13:31, nor for dinner at 19:31. Everything was put away and closed exactly in a minute.

Verified reviewI liked everything, delicious food, friendly staff, if for a budget holiday this is a very good option very close to the sea
The only thing that was not good was a small crack in the room on the wall, so my recommendation is to do at least some cosmetic repairs that would be visually beautiful

Verified reviewThe location is perfect for those wanting to stay close to the historic old town and the KLEOPATRA beach…. There are several ATMs available right infront of the hotel entrance while major grocery and bar are just within 15 steps away from the entrance too
It’s old and furniture and other appliances are all very dated

Absolutely disgusting. We had too book my inlaws into this property for 5 nights after my father in law got ill and ended up in icu in a nearby hospital. I reached out to the hotel prior to them checking in explaining the situation to be told they would look after them. We booked 5 nights they lasted 1. The hotel was dirty, mould in the rooms not a place they could bring my sick father in law once he was out of the hotel. After making complaint to the reception were told to take it up with booking.com which I am currently fighting for a refund as the hotel won't answer any call to them and keeps declining refund. Terrible customer service!
Dear Kelly, We would like to clarify the situation regarding your reservation. As your booking was made and paid through Booking.com, any refund requests must be directed to them. However, we are happy to provide details about the circumstances surrounding your stay. When your family arrived at our hotel, we did our best to assist them and ensured they were given adjacent rooms as requested. They expressed satisfaction with our service and mentioned that everything was going well. During their stay, they informed us that one family member was unwell and, upon recovery, they wished to check out earlier due to plans to stay at another property they had booked. As outlined in our reservation and accommodation policies, which are clearly stated before booking, cancellations or changes are subject to specific terms. Unfortunately, in cases where there are no issues with the service or facilities provided, we are unable to offer refunds based on personal or voluntary decisions to leave early. We strive to provide the best possible experience for all our guests and are disheartened by any allegations that do not accurately reflect the situation. We assure you that all rooms and services were delivered as expected. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Best Regards, Kleopatra Arsi Hotel

Verified reviewOur stay at the hotel went very well. We checked in around midnight and were given a room on the first floor, which of course was not what we had booked, but without any problems the next morning they exchanged us a room on the 5th floor. The room is cleaned daily, karaoke can be heard from the bar after 11 pm but not for long, in principle it’s not a big problem. Regarding food, you will never remain hungry here, the food may be monotonous, but tasty. There was fish and chicken and meat. I would like more selection of fruits. Special thanks to the staff, all the guys are great, they try, they are polite and sociable. There is nothing in the entertainment program, the choice of music is not always good, especially the russian music is just a nightmare. It might be a good idea to invite performers for live music nights. The beach is comfortable and clean, sun loungers were booked only once, all other days we did without them. In general, the hotel deserves its stars, there are opportunities for development, but they are not critical. We wish success to all the staff and thank you for our wonderful holiday with you.

Verified reviewHad 7 days stay during last week of July. Excellent location, friendly, cooperative and active staff. Kitchen and service staff especially worked really hard. Taste of food and variety was really good. Pool is small but an added advantage. Nearby store and restaurants. Cleaning lady was very cooperative.
1-private beach sunbeds are not included in all inclusive 2- noise from the road during late night. 3- room was smaller than what it looked like.

Verified reviewWe made reservation and paid our familyroom in advance, but when we arrived at the hotel they said hotel is fully booked and there is no room for us !? How its even possible cause we paid 1000€ already!? Reseption said we can have room from another Arsi-hotel on the east beach side. I heard from my friend they did the same to her once.. Its a bit weird if you ask me, but the other hotel was okay too so didnt need to complain. Just saying this, it can happen to you too!

Verified reviewStaff is very nice and kind, rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and clean. Food was good, although I missed more variety (the same food was repeating every third/fourth day) and more traditional dishes (e.g. sigara börek, baklava, kadayıf, künefe etc).
Market in the hotel is expensive. 1.5l water 25TL, next to the hotel is Carrefour 1.5l water costs 5.5TL. Hotel is selling tickets of the beach, which is okay, you always pay the same, but at the they are trying to trick you badly. One day i bought the additional sun umbrella for 75TL, next day the other guy wanted to trick me he said he wants 100TL. Because I started arguing with him in turkish and english that he is trying to trick me and he run away. Those guys at the Beach 6 are so arrogant, they don't even say hi how are you, the rudest people I have ever met. Plus they were screaming at customers arguing with them and cursing them, telling them to f**k o** from their beach and to never return back! Who treats customers like that? And also they don't clean regularly the sunbeds, they are dirty of sand, you have to beg them to clean. They do nothing, just take money. Beach is not so clean. Plus the water at their beach bar is abnormally expensive!!! I bought it just once, 0.5l water costs 50TL!!!! 6 bottles of water 300TL!!! That's almost 9EUR! Everyone was complaining about the prices at the beach! One lady said one beer was 6EUR! First 5days of our stay the bar had free toilet, then they closed the free toilet and opened a new toilet a 50m away but for charging for it 15TL or 0.50EUR per person! But the sea was also not so good, out of 11 days around 7-8 were such high waves and the water was dirty too. I hope hotel will consider talking to owners of the beach, because this is giving very bad experience to the guests.
