The location was very central and rooms were comfortable and spacious!

At times there was a foul smell in the bottom bathroom. A microwave would have been very helpful in the apartment!

This was a beautiful, comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Istanbul. It's close to shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to Taksim metro and Istiklal. Our host was lovely - extremely helpful and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone else visiting Istanbul.

The flat has a nice character to it and feels very homely. Great location with easy commute around town. Very spacious and has everything one needs for a stay.

Air condition in one of the bedrooms was struggling a little, but it wasn’t a big problem.

At the end of an old, pretty run down area, yet a one minute walk to the Beyoğlu area which is excellent. All in all a good location. Main drawback for us was being up 3 flights of stairs, not ideal if you're older like us. Some of the units are lower, worth asking for if available. Handan was a great host, responsive and great to deal with.

The spacious apartment comes with natural design in a restored traditional house, which made us very comfy. The location is excellent to connect the metro station and tourist spots in walking distance. The host is extremely nice to provide us the help we need. Really recommend it.

There's no AC in the bedroom so a bit warm at night in summer.

Handan was a great host and the flat was lovely - lots of character and full of beautiful plants. We found everyone in Istanbul very friendly and there is SO much to do here. Would recommend Kunterbunt :)

There was no washroom on ground floor and my mom with knee issue had to take the stairs for the loo There is no good view from the view. There is a garbage and debris of sorts from the window on the behind At night the street can get very scary and unsafe

I liked that the apartment was close to Taksim Square. We just had to cross the road and we were there. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and retail in the area. We really enjoyed it.

I wish there was an elevator in the building. Regardless, we enjoyed the 3 bedroom apartment in the building. It had a lovely balcony that overlooked the area. I enjoyed my morning coffee.

Fantastic location, and our host was so so helpful. The apartment was really clean and quiet, and the location was really convenient for getting around Istanbul. I would definitely recommend Kunterbunt apartments!

The host was lovely and spoke great English. Check in was super easy and detailed instructions were given so there were no worries about finding the apartment or being able to get in. The apartment was really clean, just like the pics, and in a great location. Would definitely stay again!

We have really enjoyed our stay at Kunterbunt, and this is largely due to our charming and friendly host Handan who put a lot of care and attention to make it comfortable and stress-free. She provided us with all the property details beforehand and gave us a warm welcome. The apartment is as described, it has everything you may need there. The kitchen area is well-equipped although we mainly had our meals out in the city. The apartment balcony provides a nice view of the area. The location is also great, neither far nor too close to the nightlife buzz of İstiklal Avenue, so we could sleep well at night. AC and the Internet worked Ok. Thank you, dear Handan, for making our first stay in this fantastic city so amazing.

Nothing to complain about.

The experience was great at this accommodation, we highly recommend it! -very close to the center of Taksim where you can find anything you want (food, entertainment, promenade) -close to bus and metro stations -the apartment looks very nice, it was clean and was equipped with everything I needed -the host is extremely nice and the self-check-in was helpful p.s. We recommend eating just around the corner near the accommodation at Sofram (good and cheap food), but also a few steps down the main street at HK Hebap House (Halil Ibrahim Kebap Evi)

- the view from the bedroom is not the best, it is towards a part of the building in ruins (we ignored it) - the apartment felt quite annoying humidity at night
