How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Sofia welcomed us with an open heart, and helped us book a bus and taxi so that we could get to another city and find a loved one's grave. Incredibly nice, easygoing and very genuinely helpful. The hotel rooms are cozy and have everything you need. We have nothing to complain about. Will definitely come back. Thank you Sofia and the hotel for everything.

Wonderful spacious rooms, amazing service from reception. You get out from the hotel you pass only one walkway and you are in the city center and available spacious parking. The hotel cat and receptionist have great welcoming skills! Everything was wonderful, we will recommend and will come again! :)

There was no breakfast included, no option to buy coffee there.
The hotel is very clean and beds are comfortable! It is close to the city center and there is a parking.

No breakfast was offered and a foul smell was coming out of the bathroom sink. The price on the reservation was valid only for cash (credit card payment would be subject to a 10% surcharge). I did pay in cash, but neither a receipt nor an invoice was given.
Excellent location very close to the central square of Kirklareli. Private, secure parking space. Extremely clean hotel, with a nice lavender smell everywhere. Incredible bargain (60% off for the beginning of Janurary)

The best place to relax. The staff was kind. The room was clean. You have everything u can want and need. The location of the hotel is the best. Everything is near, food restaurants, the central street is like 2 minutes away from the hotel. Would return again for sure. Best regards!

they only told us the garden is closed, but when we came it somehow was open, if we kne we would have eaten there

The AC did not work but the night air was cool coming through the window.
The couple that own the hotel spoke English. They helped us find excellent restaurants, a music festival and places to explore. They made reservations for us at the local vineyards. The bar and garden area were lovely. We could enjoy our wine from the local winery there, they provided use with wine glasses, any utensils we needed.

The location is perfect - right in the downtown. However, it was very quiet during the day and night. The hotel offers parking lot which is great advantage for travelers with cars. The furniture is great and the bed was very comfortable. There are water, tea and coffee at the room as well as sleepers, which was a very nice touch.

There are non rooms with balconies in the hotel and for my husband (who is a heavy smoker) it was s little bit inconvenient. But he smoked in the garden
The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the center. The staff was very polite and helpful. The garden of the hotel/the bar is like an oasis - the tables are under the shadow of the trees, you can even hear birds singing :)

Nothing to dislike!
The hotel is situated in the center of Kirklareli. It has its own parking yard for maybe 10 cars, very accesible. It is 3-5 minutes walk to the main shopping streets and to street food or restaurants. The room we had was absolutely cozy, with modern furniture and bathroom facilities. There's a nice restautant with a terrace, where the staff allowed us to bring personal food and drinks. All the hotel staff was very friendly.
