How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only small issue was with the bathroom — the water temperature in the shower would suddenly turn very cold and then get very hot again when adjusted. It was a bit inconvenient, but everything else made up for it. I would still recommend this hotel and hope this can be improved in the future!
I had a very good stay at this hotel in Istanbul! The location was great, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the overall experience. Breakfast was really good with different varieties and also very fresh. It was very good experience for us.

I felt very welcome
It was very clean and the ambiance was elegant. I requested for a room at a higher floor and not so noisy and they took great care of my request. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. Good location also.

The biggest drawback - which led me to give 9 stars not 10 - was working hours of gym. Basically I travelled istanbul for a short layover where I had around 13-14 hours in city (I arrived at 21:00 - left at 9:00 AM), I wanted to have a gym session - however gym only is open between 10:00 AM - to 18:00 local time. Was better to communicate this info beforehand. I believe booking also has to follow up such guidelines in order to prevent incorrect information between hotels and guests.
Room was complimentary upgraded, staff was very friendly, location is very close to almost every spot you need in Istanbul. Room condition, cleanliness and quality of room equipment was high. Left content overall except my experience with gym facility - which was a big disappointment.

The room service for cleaning was not good Even they didn’t put extra tissue in bathroom so we need to ask for one when the one in toilet finish It hard for taxis to park their so need to cross street for it

We were upgraded and had spacious room. Front Desk Mariam and Abdullah, in the lobby Noor as well. Also guest relations manager was beyond amazing.

Nothing, all was great and we'll be back
The hotel was great, the staff provided a great service especially Elayda, Denise and Meryim were very friendly, accommodating and the reason why we'll be back. We received a free room upgrade, the room was extremely spacious and clean, the cleaning lady was soo friendly. We received a free late room check out. The staff and the manager made the stay especially pleasant. The location of the hotel is central, there are so many things to do. In the hotel we received exceptional spa service and swimming pool was great, our son enjoyed it. All great!!
