We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

RussiaThe price on booking is different from the price they ask to pay you upon arrival. The booking clearly stated the price and that payment should be done upon arrival, and there is no option of prepayment with booking.com. However reception staff insisted on paying their "fixed" price which is higher.
Everything was fine, there was hot water, clean sheets and towels, good breakfast was included.

AzerbaijanBooked this hotel via booking. Photos of the room were probably taken from the best suit in this hotel, as we were placed into very small room, which were dirty and veryyyy small. There were just a bed and chair, nothing else could fit in a room. We arrived at 10PM and after 1 hour just decided to leave hotel to another one closed to this location. It was unbelievably hot, outside and inside. Big surprise for me was that there are no AC's in hotel. Not even a room with UC unit. First time in my experience having hotel with no AC. Honestly, it is not written on the hotel page, but i used to think that this is must for all hotels in hot countries. I was with a kid, walking around during the midnight time for moving to another place.
Liked nothing in this place. Haven't stay longer than hour to give feedback, except the location, which was closed to the embassy i needed.

RussiaThe wifi was terrible. It's better to say that there was no wifi in my room ( When it takes 5 minutes to download a photo in whatsapp, it's literaly bad). There was a problem with hot water. I just didn't have it the second day. When I asked the administrator to help, she ignored it. I tried 3 times and it didn't work. I had to have a cold shower. There was a balcony in my room, unfortunately, there was no lock in the door and if you opened the door once, you had to be very lucky to close it. There was a disgusting smell in the bathroom. When you asked the administrators to help, they always said "with great pleause" but they didn't do anything.
The room was clean.
