How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe were guests at the Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel for our vacation and had a truly fantastic experience! The facilities and services are top-notch, the food is excellent and offers a wide range of international and local dishes. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with balconies overlooking the sea or gardens. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful, responding with a smile to all our requests - a special thank you to Ezgi who took such great care of my children with love and attention 🥰. The hotel has several pools with breathtaking views of the sea and two beautiful private beaches. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation in Bodrum. I'll gladly return next year 😉

Verified reviewI had a very disappointing stay at Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel. The rooms had a bad smell, the beds were damp, and the sink was clogged so the water wouldn’t drain. When I reported these issues, the staff did nothing to solve them. I don’t recommend this hotel at all — I hope others don’t waste their money here.

My fiancés ring was stolen from her purse. Staff was dismissive and manager did not want to help. We know for a fact the ring was in her purse before we left the room and the only person with access to the room was the cleaner so you do the math…. Manager didn’t care and even went as far as saying the cleaner should call the police to report us for accusing her.

Verified reviewWe visited with our four children and had an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Before our trip, we read some reviews saying the food wasn’t great—but we were pleasantly surprised! There was plenty of variety, especially during snack times, with four different areas to choose from. The managers were always present, regularly checking in to see if everything was going well and whether guests needed anything. Manager Hasan was especially helpful in assisting us with restaurant arrangements, and Chef Halil was attentive, making sure food quality and service remained high. At reception, Ali was very helpful in arranging a suitable room for us, as we were traveling with four children and needed everything to be just right. Location was great in terms of getting to locals. The pool areas and bars are nice clean. And for the beach to be a step away from the hotel was a bonus!! Lastly, the animation team was brilliant—so engaging and child-friendly. This is a fantastic family-friendly hotel, and we would highly recommend it. Thank you to Royal Asarlik and the entire team for a wonderful stay!

Verified reviewThe staff was amazing. Special thanks to the animation team, Ozzy, Emre and Kubra. You guys made the stay even better than we hoped. The food was varied and tasty. The room was clean, spacious and comfy. Facilities were great although we didn't even have time to use the turkish bath, gym and some other facilities as we were having too much fun at the beach and the pool. Hope to come back some day!

Verified reviewThe courteous staff . Beautiful views . Amazing food choice . A choice of pool areas was a big bonus . Great tunes around the marine bar pool and peace over the other side . Totally relaxed . Booking again for next year.
2 evenings of amazing dancers put on a show but the other evenings weren't very organised . Bingo night the lights went down on the amphitheater so nobody could see their card and the quiz night just didn't happen . So nightly entertainment could be improved and more table and chairs for people at the Marine bar in the evening .

One of the head waiters named Olash, he was very rude and greedy, he was hospitalizing clients in the ottoman & Italian restaurants based on paid tips good places are given to whom will pay him tips only, I reported to the management and I hope they will take action against him
