Great location in the old town. Surrounded by great restaurants and a short stroll to the Hippodrome and Mosques. The staff are super friendly and the views from the breakfast terrace are gorgeous. I would highly recommend the family suite even for a couple as the extra price is worth it.

We were on the first floor, accessible by stairs only, which we hadn’t realised beforehand. Lugging up suitcases at our age & after a broken foot suffered earlier in the year , is getting difficult.

The staff is EXCELLENT. The hotel is neat & clean. They allowed us to leave their luggage there for a while after check-in, as we had the rest of the day in Istanbul and were able to collect them at the end of the day. Breakfast on the terrace was good. Location is EXCELLENT , so close to the old town.

I loved it so much there wasn't anything I didn't like

It was a beautiful small hotel and close to main attraction front desk staff can speak English very well, they made me feel so welcome through out my stay and helping me with future and gave tips and ideas too, very helpful.the breakfast is a traditional Turkish breakfast was so delishious and healthy.

We were referred to this hotel once, and now it’s one of our favorite places to stay in the historical district in Istanbul. The authentic interior and perfect location, close to our favorite places in the old city, make us want to come back to this hotel again and again. It’s a pleasure to meet the same staff working there for years. Their smiles and hospitality at any level, along with their accommodation of our needs, make us feel welcome. The gorgeous view from the rooftop to the sea on one side and the majestic Hagia Sophia on the other side looks lovely at any time of day or night. The breakfast buffet includes local, homemade lemonades and omelets with veggies, which became our favorite morning dish. The hotel charges for the delicious Turkish coffee, but it’s worth it. We stayed in different rooms, and this year, we found the hidden gem – spacious, comfortable, and cozy at the same time. We were enjoying the unique, gentle aroma of the bath towels, the bathroom rose sachet, and the open wooden windows bringing the cries of seagulls and a divine imam chanting.

There was nothing negative

The rooms although a little small were perfect and clean and the breakfast superb. The location is of course perfect both for the city center as well as the beach. But the most important thing is the friendliness of the people. Unbelievable, the hotel staff did everything to please us but it has to be said this is in the whole of Istanbul.

Fridge didn’t work when not in the room, as no electricity as needed the key card to be on for this, but was not an issue.

Everything. Breakfast very substantial and delicious, lots of options. Really is in the centre of Sultanahmet district, everything very close by, including a tram stop. Staff polite, professional and eager to make our stay good.

Our room was on the first floor -not far from reception, so it was sometimes a bit noisy at night and early morning. Mattresses could do with a renewal.
