The property was really clean and rooms were a good size Kemal couldn’t do enough for us nothing was too much trouble even to the point where he would wait up until we all returned from a wedding at another hotel on the island. He was a true gentleman.

Kalem was very informative, giving help on the surrounding area and even the mainland in Calis. Cleanliness was exceptional and breakfast (Turkish) well presented & fresh. Refreshments are available upon request, (water, alcohol sprits etc) which is put on your room number for payment at the end of your stay. Swimming in the sea is available from the jetty or the very nearby beach. All staff where accessible throughout the day and until the last guest arrived back a the hotel.

There's nothing I can comment on that I didn't like about the hotel.

Our experience at this hotel in Turkey was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and kindness by the staff, who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The hotel itself is a stunning - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail, from the cozy rooms to the inviting common areas, reflected a high level of care and quality. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff’s dedication to creating a memorable experience. They were always eager to assist, offer recommendations, and ensure we had everything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made our celebration even more special. The staff arranged for taxi boats to and from the mainland making this an easy and stress-free experience. Overall, this hotel provided us with an unforgettable stay filled with warmth, comfort, and excellent service. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting —it's a place where you feel like family. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel during a wedding celebration, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The hospitality was exceptional, and their genuine warmth added a special touch to our experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, providing the perfect setting for our trip. We enjoyed every moment, from relaxing in the lovely common areas to savoring delicious local cuisine. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and their attentiveness made all the difference. Overall, our time in Turkey was unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to this fantastic hotel. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay. This is the best stay you can ever find in Fethiye, no match. The view you get to see everyday out of the window is unmatched, the cleanliness, the scenery, and the services are amazing, and the hospitality is beyond expectations - Mr Kemal and Mr Ersin (Two brothers running this Family Hotel) helped us exploring the island, booking trips around Fethiye for local prices, and happily transported us from the Hotel to the beach any time for free (the boat trip itself is a mezmerizing experience and is a call away). I even got injured at the end of our trip (twisted my ankle in a mischievous adventure in the mountains - my mistake), Mr Kemal and Mrs Emma (she's also a very kind lady working at the Hotel) never hesitated to provide me with first aid and medicine all day long, they helped me recover much faster and I'll always be thankful for their care even though they didn't have to. Long story short, you'll never find anyone as trustworthy and welcoming as Mr Kemal and his team, and you'll never find a better deal than Şövalye hotel (we did our research so you don't have to). Either for discovering Fethiye, or for a calm stay on the island. for us we'll definitely be back one day.

The island location is lovely for a quiet and restful stay and the boat transfer was quick. It's nice to walk around the island looking at the archeology, the other properties, and the views. Hotel is bright and clean, as was the room, and the view great. Breakfast was sufficient with cheeses, tomatoes, eggs etc (as expected for Turkey). Lunch and/or dinner available if required. Prices very reasonable. Plenty of sun-beds, umbrellas etc. Use of kayaks if wanted. Kemal and family are very nice and very hospitable and nothing is too much trouble.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would be a bonus, but are available in the communal areas if you ask.

This is a secluded place with private beaches and an interesting underwater world. The host is very welcoming and hospitable. Everything is exactly as described in other reviews.

It lacked a cozy atmosphere. Everything was super clean, but we stayed on the fourth floor, and I, for example, love drinking tea. I had to go downstairs to ask for hot water, which was inconvenient. I wanted to relax, not run up and down the stairs. The breakfasts were repetitive and became tiresome even by the second day.

Great experience to live on the island: no cars; all the beaches with crystal water in 1min walk. Amazing owners of the hotel (Kemal and his brother) were kind, responsive and attentive, we were surrounded by care. In the hotel, we took the paddle board and kayak and made the trips around the island. Kemal even gave us paddle boarding lessons. Laundry service was also very convenient.

Since it is on an island, you are away from the chaos of the city. The view from the rooms is beautiful. The internet is very fast and you can connect from anywhere.

The hotel needs some improvement in some areas. For example, the bathroom. And also you can hear all the noises from the other room nearby yours due to sharing the same ventilation chimney at the bathroom. You can swim in front of the hotel, but since Fethiye Bay is not very clean compared to other areas, you will inevitably encounter water that is not clear. From time to time, between 9pm and 1am, the noise of loud entertainment in Fethiye can reach your room.

We spent 6 days/7 nights with family there and we enjoyed it very much. Rooms, food, location - there is nothing to complain. Kemal, Ersen and Emma made us feel as we visited some of our family member. Very nice place and people.

Very quiet island no roads. The hotel is run by two brothers one of whom cooks well. Both were friendly and helpful. Kemal has a good command of English and is interested in the world outside Turkey. Our room (101) had a balcony and overlooked the sea to the mainland. Breakfast was the same for each day bread an egg cooked to order, tomato and cucumber cheese olives gozleme homemade jam tea or coffee. Fruit juice is extra but the orange juice we had was freshly squeezed and delicious. Not much goes on on the island there a a couple of hotels which are very expensive to eat at. The brothers will cook to order with enough notice. Dinner was well prepared and nourishing. We had fresh fruit and a sandwich for lunch one day. Boat trips will stop and pick up at the island. It may be possible to hire kayaks or sailboards.

The island is not big enough for a decent walk but there are beaches with safe swimming. It is very quiet and a good place to chill for a few days. It is easy to take a boat to Fetihye for the day or a boat trip to nearby islands.

Whether it's gazing at the sunset from the terrace or my own balcony from the bed - or taking a leisurely stroll along the beaches, the hotel's location is truly a haven for relaxation and tranquility. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to me when choosing a hotel, and Sovalye Hotel definitely delivered in this aspect. The entire property was immaculate, and attention to detail was evident in every corner. From the pristine rooms to the spotless common areas, it was clear that they take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. This added an extra level of comfort to my stay, knowing that every effort was made. One of the highlights of my stay at Sovalye Hotel was undoubtedly the food. The hotel's restaurant offers an exceptional culinary experience, with a wide range of mouthwatering dishes that showcase the best of Turkish cuisine. In the end, it was Kemal and Urcin who make the hotel what it is. They are incredibly kind, pre-empting every single need as a guest you could imagine. I was truly spoiled and will be back! This is no fault of the hotel but the island has no stores.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Having the feeling of being secluded on the island with the stunning views, hospitality and accommodations. We couldn't ask for anything better.

Loved being on the island and the family really look after their guests. We preferred the dinner here than Ada Restaurant.

Not the hotels fault this… but annoying. There are only a few places to sit and sunbathe and one couple hogged the better spot all day for the three days we were there despite not actually using it most if the time.

The location is beautiful. There is a lovely garden to relax in. The terrace is lovely to sit and eat and just relax. There are canoes and fishing rods available to use The rooms are very comfortable, clean with amazing views The hosts are very friendly and helpful I will definitely be returning

Although you have a jetty to use for swimming off of it does not have a beach as such that you can lay by and walk into the water. A kettle and tea making facilities proper fridge would of been nice, also a daily bottle of water left in room

The staff displayed remarkable friendliness and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our room was not only clean and recently refurbished but also offered a delightful view from the balcony. The WiFi connection was really good, among the best I've experienced on my holidays. Additionally, the beach on the island was consistently deserted, offering a peaceful atmosphere.

I would have appreciated a more diverse breakfast during our nearly two-week stay at the hotel. Having the same breakfast every day became monotonous.

Great place for a quiet holiday. Very hospitable hosts, especially one of the owners, Mr. Kemal. We felt as we were visiting our beloved relatives. We will definitely come back again.
