Nothing, it suited us perfectly.

The Sozer hotel is a lovely traditional family run hotel just accross the road from a small stony beach and within walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket it is a perfect stopover if travelling along the Turkish coast or for a stopover if on a ferry trip to Lesbos. The breakfast was lovely and traditionaly Turkish. We found the owner and his wife very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble, this was our third stay there and if in the area we will stay again.

The building needs a make up renovation.Small part in rooms but also in bathrooms.

The room was small and a bit worn. The shower was not very good and the toilet seat broke. A busy road makes it a bit noisy. Was a convenient location for one night on our long drive, but seemed overpriced, probably due to the location by the sea.

Very friendly hosts, good views of the bay, good dinner and very good breakfast. Convenient car park. Comfortable bed.

Nothing major, small attention to detail, kettle cord didn't reach the plug, put water in the fridge for guest arrival.

The couple who run it are fantastic, they went out of their way to help me, despite only being there 1 night, I had some homemade bbq and salad made which was delicious. There's access to the beach with loungers just across the road. Shared balcony with a stunning view. About 5/10 mins walk into main part of town.

Being in on the main road it is a bit noisy but acceptable for the location. The showers need a bit of attention, but at least worked so ok.

They didn't clean the room, but we stayed only two nights so it was not a big deal.

Very friendly and kind staff. They didn't speak much English but found a way with a translator. The room was very nice, with a big balcony and a full view on the sea across the road. The position is ok, 20 minutes walk to the city, much less with a minibus. Good breakfast.

Traffic on the front of the hotel was a bit noisy (overspeeding cars in the evening and night).

Room was tiny and a bit more used then what we expected. But for sleeping and compared to the price it was perfect.

Close to the old town- 15 min walk. Parking lots in front of the door available. Perfect for sightseeing in Ayvalik. To Cunda take not the route through the oldtown, google will show second option. Very friendly manager and family.

Located ~20 minutes walk from downtown Ayvalik, Sözer hotel is in a quiet area just in front of a very small beach. There is a parking space next to the house. The view from the balcony was lovely, as was the breakfast. The owner did not speak English, but was a proficient Google Translate user, so there were no issues in us understanding each other. The room was clean, but the room itself is quite small, also, the electricity sockets are not conveniently places, but this is not a big deal. I enjoyed my stay at the Sözer and would gladly visit again!

The toilette has a flushing problem and there is no hand shower. Only above your head.

The hotel is located across a small but beautiful beach. There is 2.5 km walking distance to the center. The room has a nice view. Breakfast is delicious, quite enough but it is continental breakfast. The owner is friendly, helpful but no english speaking. The hotel has parking and it is free of charge.

Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel is right next to a small beach which makes it very convenient for a quick dip in the water. There are frequent mini buses that commute between Ayvalik city center and the beaches that are a bit further away. I would say the hotel is in a very nice location as it is right outside the center while being conveniently connected.
