Splitting key and fob to lock the door without plunging into darkness. Mosquito's ( not the hotels fault- take bug spray). I'm mixed on the paid WiFi as people did interact more and spend less time on their phones which was lovely. Also mixed on the caged birds - they were beautiful and the song was gorgeous, but caged.

The staff and owners were wonderful. The location was nice and quiet, only a short step along a vibrant promanade from old Side. The food and drink was delicious and varied. the Gardens are small but beautifully kept. Lovely small family run establishment. Entertainment finishing at 11 for a perfectly quiet night's rest - with lively venues in walking distance but out of earshot.

WiFi not free, but quite expensive, paid per day & per device so amounts quickly to lots of money - though signal quite good. Only one beach towel FOC, if you swap you have to pay, apartments decent, but smaller than on pictures, bathroom quite small and biggest disappointment as outdated/worn-out.

I really liked the food choices at this hotel, lots of fresh fruit, endless choice of "green" staff / sallads, loved nicely prepared traditional turkish dishes. Location of hotel is good with short stroll to the beach, pool very clean & not too busy. Not a standard type of hotel - it has got a feel of being in nature due to loads of plants,roses, palms etc also providing shade and coolness required on hot days. Entertainment is rare but decent - provided on stage around pool including traditional turkish folk groups, derwish dance, belly dancer, open fish barbecue & donner kebab, nice music.

The staff were very caring and friendly and we were very well taken care of. We loved the chalet and it was a very large room. Cleaned and towels every day changed. Beautiful feeling. Highly recommended. Food self service was varied and fresh. Should be a 5*. Thank you so much.

The food was fantastic varied well cooked great selection breakfast lunch and dinner salads cold meats cheeses fruits vegetables etc faultless. Staff cheerful friendly attentive hard working every member we met was a credit to the owners whom we met lovely guys. Cleaning was really good beds comfortable good clean swimming pool always a sun lounger available. my 1st all inclusive this is the only hotel I would return to in Turkey quality price and great service highly recommended. A few minutes walk to the beach shops restaurants supermarkets all very close only mins away, 10 mins to the harbour and ruins a great experience thank you all at sunberk.

We were in this hotel for the second time and we were very satisfied. The owner of the hotel, the staff, and the kitchens are top 20. Pleasant atmosphere, very good food makes us come back with great pleasure.

The food was poor quality. Little variety and not appropriate to the weather. Very hot weather is not the time to be serving casserole and stews for every meal. But the hot food was not presented and kept at a safe temperature. We never saw any staff member check or probe the "hot" food, which was never hot, just lukewarm, even at the very start of service. Also, there were constantly flies on the open food trays. My partner and I had stomach upsets for most of our stay. There was not enough seating in the restaurant for the guests. Often, we chose our food from the buffet, then had no table to sit at and eat. There was a service period of just 2 hours in the evening, so the guests could not choose to eat at a less busy time, and there would have been nothing left anyway. Hot drinks were served in thin paper cups - no cups and saucers. I saw a fellow guest burn his hands when carrying his cups of fresh hot coffee back to the table. The special fish night involved an outdoor grill, which filled the whole outdoor seating area with choking black smoke, which triggered an asthma attack. Our room, which was close to this area, and all our clothes, reeked of foul burned fish.

The rooms and gardens were very nice, and the pool was clean. We reserved a ground floor room, because I find stairs difficult, and we had confirmation of this in writing. On arrival we were allocated an upstairs room. We stayed in there for four more days, until my partner telephoned the owner to complain. Within an hour, a ground floor room was suddenly available, which was much better for the rest of our stay.

Very friendly staff helped with all what we needed. Family atmosphere so you feel like at home. Food was fresh and many variety of it also tasty and some days special like Turkish night with typical dance. Beach for hotel was small but out of season enough, you can choose near beach for few euro a day. In garden of hotel are many animals- birds, bunnies, cats etc. We love it there and for sure will come there again.

I used a laundry service once. I stayed for 2 weeks. To my surprise they brought my clothes back wet and layered it on my porch to dry. That was hilarious. I just didn’t know they were lacking dryers. In my home country- washer and dryer is a bare minimum. But no judging here. Just be prepared.

Breakfast was sufficient. Could be better, but at least you always have eggs. I honestly was sleeping through breakfast, could not adjust to time zone and only tried breakfast once in 2 weeks. The hotel is very private and low key. For those who's not looking for entertainment or extra amenities it’s good. I came for medical reasons, so I didn’t mind. Lunch and dinner were very simple, I was craving more meat and fish, but they only had fish once during those 14 days. Beach is around the corner, short walk. The hotel is close( walking proximity)to a variety of shops, restaurants and Old City. I didn’t try a pool or sauna so can’t comment on that. But the pool looks small.
