The only suggestion we would have is to procure a different forniture for the garden. It is a very refreshing part of the property, a more heavy mobiliere would be welcome there.

Brand-new hotel, in a still preserved part of Cappadocia, not heavily touristic. Very big rooms (we stayed an extra night in another room) so both family rooms (4 people) and room with 3 beds are perfectly (and with great aste) equipped. The staff is wonderful: kind, helpful and proactive. To start from the B/fast women, preparing always great food (B/fast is a highlight!), to continue with the very gentle night guard, and the joyful Hossain, fact totum always ready to solve any problem, provide suggestions and alternatives, strategically buffering every requests and always with kindness and politeness

We went in August & it was a bit hot there, although the hotel has been built in a cave, it was warm inside the room & we needed fans. I think an air conditioner would be more helpful in summers.

Location & aesthetic of the hotel was excellent. Facilities were nice & breakfast was gorgeous

Rooms are having air circulation issues, especially on hot days it's impossible to sleep without ventilator running on our heads. first room we were shown had too high humidity that was not healthy at all, staff was also trying to cover the bad odor with room perfumes but that's not a healthy way to handle this, a dehumidifier if not an air conditioning, must be present in lower rooms to protect the building and the guests. I will only book again if they fix this problem for good.

We loved the design of the rooms, the Turkish bath style bathrooms and roof was very nice. Breakfast was legendary, the ladies who prepared the breakfast really reflected the village style Turkish breakfast culture, for me a good hotel is not a good hotel if the breakfast is not impressive, I was impressed. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our requests.

Lack of air conditioning and not enough electricity sockets

Lovely spacious accommodation, but would benefit from air conditioning during the hotter months. The hotel is in a quiet location, about a 15 minute walk from the centre

Nothing. It was a pretty good choice for our family.

The hotel is built into the rock, our cave-style room was very atmospheric, with excellent shower and bath/jacuzzi, and toiletries provided. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! The chef (Arda, I think?) was lovely. The food was always fresh and varied. Quiet location. Lots of families staying, but we never heard them. Very peaceful hotel. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, to suit all tastes are nearby, just a 10 minute walk into the town.

Steps in the room that we thought were a bit too many, especially the ones to the bathroom. Could be a bit of a challenge for those with mobility issue. Maybe the lights in the room could be separated into zones rather than one power switch controls all the lights (except the bathroom, which was great). As it's a cave hotel, once all the lights were off, the room became pitch black. Although there was a tiny green (or orange) light in the dry pond, it was not quite enough with all the steps.

We loved pretty much everything! The hotel itself was beautiful. Staff was very helpful and polite. Our room was really big, as well as the bathroom. We had everything we needed as their amenities were more than enough. The location was good; not far from Goreme and the downtown. They had parking space that can hold up to 6 cars and you can park on the side as the road was big enough. The breakfast was plenty and delicious.

The hotel staff made every effort to ensure that we had everything we needed. While some of the staff don’t speak English very well, they do their best to understand you, even through gestures, and they will get the job done. The hotel is beautiful, especially at night, but it’s quite far from the city center.

I didn’t like the bathroom as there was no door to the shower and water splashes every where. Also there is no ventilation inside the rooms and makes the room smell musty.

The hotel is beautiful, very quiet and lovely staff. I asked for a fan as the nights were a bit stuffy and there is no air con in the rooms. They were very polite about it and gave me a standing fan. The breakfast was fine but the staff were really nice and sweet.

This was like discovering a hidden gem. It os about 13 mins walk to city center..the breakfast is a fresh homemade spread with a wide variety. Its a one of a kind experience and we give it a high value given the modest pricing. The owners are very friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They arranged an excellent guide on short notice who made the best of the time and covered all the spots with great patience. Highly recommend this cave hotel!

    Some power outages

Loved our room in Sur Cave Hotel! Indeed what I came to Cappadocia for. Staff were responsive before and after our stay. I was lucky to get a good rate. It is about 15 min walk to downtown Urgup which was ok for us. This may discourage some tourists who would like to avoid quiet alleyways especially at night. But my daughter and I were ok.

Staying at the cave hotel in Ürgüp was an enchanting experience. The rooms, carved into volcanic rock, perfectly blend modern comfort with traditional charm. My spacious room featured a cozy bed, modern bathroom, and a private balcony with breathtaking views of the fairy chimneys. The service was outstanding, with staff offering warm hospitality and arranging local tours and a hot air balloon ride. Amenities included a serene spa with Turkish baths, a rooftop terrace for sunset views, and a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine, including a generous breakfast spread. Located conveniently in Ürgüp, the hotel is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Göreme National Park. The unique atmosphere, combined with luxurious amenities and prime location, made this stay unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cappadocia.
