It's too close to the mosque and early in the morning we are hearing the praying. Maybe some noise isolation should do an excellent work.

Everything was very good. The staff, it was clean and comfortable, also the breakfast was nice.

Delightfully Quaint and traditional holiday break

The shower in our room was quite small and there was no proper shower cubical to stop the shower water from escaping into the rest of the shower room and making the rest of the room uncomfortably wet. The light was for me not bright enough but that was an atmosphere enhancer to the décor style. the room itself , albeit quite small, had not much space between the walls and the bed.

Although the hotel was built traditionally old style Turkey with typical Turkish décor & room design its basic facilities were quite adequately modern. The windows were street view, to a small array of local shops, three city mosques. one of which has the tallest Minarets in Turkey. The call to prayer 5 times a day, it did not disturb,, through sound proofed window casements. The town, mainly restaurants {kebap & trad/Local foods} & Gold Jewellery stores. Also homeware, clothing, textiles with a huge market down town. Breakfast, which was a delightful inclusion, was superb with 2 different breads, 5 or 6 different home made Conserves, Honey & proprietary confections. {Try the fig jam &local cheese, together if you wish. Delicious! Great Turkish Coffee, fruit infusions, Chi, & a variety of teas, different styles of normal coffees, from the machine . Salads & mekici & baniza, boiled Eggs & a whole array of traditional breakfast foods. A superb meal, served Buffet Style. There were room tea & coffee facilities included & Shower cosmetics supplied. Adequate heating from convection main radiator and a good A/C unit. ***** Staff were EXCELLENT! I have been in Catering & hotel industry since 1959, so when I say "superb and Professional" I am serious. OZAY, the receptionist who welcomed us, was the epitome of service! " The perfect Receptionist" who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, showing me where the car park was & even coming with me in the car to show me. he helped us in with the luggage from the car & was even prepared to help take it to the room when he realised I was a little motor movement impaired. a mine of great information {Currency Exchange & restaurants & market directions etc} AYLIN, The other receptionist was remarkably helpful too & as well as day reception duties which she performed so very Professionally.

    - rooms are noisy (wood floor creaking, you can hear everyone on the hallway) - breakfast is quite basic - the location is a bit shady - but the whole centre is like this… - overall, not the best value for money, quite expensive for what we got…

Very traditional hotel, we stayed for 1 night in transit. - clean room, air conditioning (being winter, it was useful to use the hot option) - guarded parking (it is good that they have this, we didn’t feel safe to leave the car on the street) - nice bathroom, everything you need - it is dog friendly, but there is a 10 euro fee

I did not get the room I paid for. I booked a deluxe single and the room I got was a basic single that was small, dark and with a tiny bathroom. While the breakfast selections were good they were not refreshed regularly. So, on the three mornings that I was there there was no time when everything was available.

Great location. Erdine is a beautiful city.

It was too loud. It depends where the room is located but the rooms facing the street are way too loud than expected. Unfortunately it was hard to sleep because of the traffic and the noises.

A plesaant one night stopover in an interesting hotel and location but standards were modest.

I was travelling by motorbike and I didn't think that comments that said you could park in the garden meant that you had to ride the bike through the hotel lobby as it was a bit of an obstacle course. I parked in their outside car park nearby and that was satisfactory. I would have liked more information with a street map of the city and recommendations on where to eat and drink (not that alcohol was freely available in the city). Staff should be offered some English language skills!

The hotel is near a really wonderful Mosque and there are plenty of places to walk. The staff were very helpful.

▪︎Poor drainage in the bathroom. The bathroom got completely soaked after each shower because the plumbing wasn't done correctly ▪︎we requested a refund for one night as we had made a mistake with our reservations ... we booked for 4 nights instead of 3... but the manager refused. Fortunately, we were able to cancel our hotel in Istanbul and rebook. I was disappointed that a refund for 1 night could not be considered. ▪︎Furnishings are dated and not really cared for. This is an amazing property with fantastic potential. ▪︎I selected this hotel based on the photos ▪︎In the four days we stayed, the fresh fruit wasn't topped up once

▪︎Central location close to many main attractions and town centre ▪︎The historical significance of the hotel. It was thrilling staying in a former caravanserai built by the illustrious Mimar Sinan in the 16th C ▪︎The lovely courtyard with the beautiful roses ▪︎Clean room and bathrooms ▪︎Generous amount of towels ▪︎Coffee and tea station ▪︎Homemade jam for breakfast ▪︎Excellent coffee from the coffee machine ▪︎Polite and helpful staff, especially the older gentleman front desk manager and Fatma, who works in the kitchen and does the cleaning ▪︎ After our 1st night, we were granted a room change because the bathroom was too small and awkward.

The bathroom was a bit small but was fine for us. As the hotel is in the heart of the old city centre it can be a bit noisy, but its location was one of its attractions.

Lovely historic building designed by the famous Ottoman architect Sinan, full of character, and close to a number of historic sites in the centre of Edirne. There is also a lovely enclosed garden where breakfast is served when it is warm enough. Breakfast was tasty, with a wide choice of options to choose from. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
