Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Other than being located near taksim square and close to all the main attractions, The Central Palace Taksim has many great merits as my family and I had a wonderful experience there. The service is perfect, we were assisted by Karam and Imran who were both very helpful and spoke perfect english even some arabic as well, Karam did a perfect job in upgrading our room to a room with a beautiful view and luxurious decor and furniture, and was friendly the whole time, helping us with any thing we needed. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this place. I can't forget to mention how beautiful the interior design is in this hotel, it is beautiful with an antique vibe, as shown in the photos below.

clean the room is not a good and the furniture is very old and very used bad sauna and turkish bath don't work in the breakfast idont have alot of options food same thing's every day and the team in breakfast uncomfortable because i have ababy with me i stay 15 minutes after the 10:30 he is talk with me and ask me with high voice you dont know the breakfast finish 10:30 and he start to turn off the lights when i give food to my baby and my baby afraid and we feel uncomfortable i don't know his name because his not put tag name and when i ask him about name don't answer me

The hotel needs to be renovated and cleaned
the front desk staff ( Karam ) and his manager ( Osman) were very friendly and helpful, they took care of everything so far and made our stay comfortable.

It’s always a good to be back to The central palace, but this time i was a bit disappointed as the rooms weren’t renovated since my last visit few years back. The interior is nice yet I believe the toilets mainly needs to be renovated in order for the hotel to maintain the quality.
This is my third time staying at the central palace, the location is exceptional 5 mins walking to the Taksim square which is one of the main landmarks in Istanbul. It’s also few minutes walking from the Airport bus service “Havaist”. The team speaks very good english and can easily communicate with you in it. Breakfast is tasty but lacks the variety they used to have previously.

Breakfast is really poor for such a hotel, some stuff needed maintenance such as none functioning lambs, slow Internet. The tub (Spa as advertised)was not functional. Staff speaks turkish and English. All are men all the time ! :)
Spacious rooms, location is few meters from Taksim square. The room was upgraded on arrival free of extra charge.

I believe the breakfast menu should be updated.
The location was very good, the staff were amazing! They are so helpful, very welcoming, And they helped me plan a full birthday surprise at the room when I requested. I’ve been coming to this hotel for almost 10 years, they never failed to impress me with their services.

Very disappointing that I did not have coffee facilities in my room no kettle, no coffee sachets. I was told that I have to pay for my coffees so I was charged every time I would get instant coffee from a sash which was free inclusive with my room. Breakfast was good. Everything was well. Only issue was within my room. I had no kettle, no cups no coffee, no sugar. When asked the staff I was told to pay And complimentary water was not given to me as daily, I was told to go to the shop and buy my own

The Breakfast is always the same. The room is not clean. The bathtub is so high. The cleaner was entering the room to clean without the permission. The hotel should have a card hanging on the door knob so i can give the permission to the cleaner to enter my room.
