How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach. The staff were extremely polite, kind, and service-oriented, overall very professional. The rooms were clean, spacious, and smelled fresh. It was also a nice plus that there was a TV with Netflix and YouTube available in the room. The breakfast was very nice. Special thanks to the cleaning staff, the level of cleanliness was outstanding and they were always so friendly. We could highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Didim, and we’ll definitely come back again!

Verified reviewI liked everything about this lovely boutique hotel. The young gentleman (Ozan) who checked us in was so friendly and offered to carry our luggage to our room which was on the second floor. (There is no lift in the hotel which might be a problem to anyone with mobility issues but you can request a room on the ground floor.) We booked a double room with a sea view which was perfect. The room is furnished and decorated to the highest standard and was spotlessly clean. We were advised that breakfast was available in the morning in the other Lea Hotel across the road (served between 8:30am - 12:00). We were served a Turkish breakfast the first morning but on the second morning, we were offered the option of an omelette. Nothing was a problem for the staff serving breakfast. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ozan and everyone else at The Lea for making us feel so welcome and ensuring that we had a good time. I would highly recommend this hotel and I've already booked again for 2 weeks later in the year.

Lost and had no signal on TV for 4 days so had very limited access to channels on TV. Personal accounts had to be signed into to obtain Prime Video and Netflix channels. The room needed a paint on the ceiling as repair works hadnt been painted.

Verified reviewExcellent location in the middle of everything at Didim's famous Altinkum beach. The rooms are clean and good, the furniture is relatively new compared to many other hotels in Didim. Offers a nice beach service on the water at its own pier. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Restaurant is ok. A hard to find good price/performance ratio hotel in Didim.
There is no dedicated parking space, and public parking is not very nearby actually. There is no elevator, so rooms above the first floor could be challenging to reach several times during the day.

We also experienced the parking problem because we hosted 1 million people for the first time as a city, so the municipality had to close some roads and this affected our parking lot. There are no elevators in the area where we live, which is not allowed to exceed 3 floors, which is a good thing because we are an earthquake country. We have rooms on the ground floor for our customers who cannot climb stairs. At the same time, our stairs are low and wide. We look forward to seeing you again as soon as possible, goodbye

Verified reviewJust returned from a 2 weeks stay at the Lea hotel. The perfect location for a beach holiday with all amenities on your door step. The hotel is modern, clean and perfect for a family holiday. Lovely breakfast is provided with a range of choices. The staff were amazing and very accommodating ( especially Ozzy & Roody). The owners are also very friendly and welcoming. A big plus is the air conditioning system and the hotel room has everything that you would need. Even though the hotel is on the main strip of altinkum, it is very quiet. I look forward to return.

Verified reviewIt's a nice location. Toward the end of the sea front. It's pretty quite, but close to the action. I found the staff helpful, and when I requested an early breakfast, it was no problem. The room itself was very plush. I was surprised at how good it was for the price. There's a photo below. A little gem!
Electric went off for a bit which I found a bit confusing. They informed me when I went down to the lobby to find out what was going on.

Verified reviewGreat location only 100m from beach. Very clean and smart although beds are rather firm. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Turkish breakfast is fairly good. We have stayed there twice now and would recommend it.
Disabled access could be an issue as there is a flight of steps to access the hotel and no lift to access the rooms. The hotel is split with the restaurant facilities and other rooms 50 m away - I don't know if there is a lift in the restaurant section.

Verified reviewThe Lea Hotel is actually my favorite hotel i've ever been to, the rooms are a perfect size, not too small and not too big, they are clean and have everything you need, a dental kit, a fridge, shampoo, enough towels, a balcony, an airco and more. The people that work there are amazing and thoughtfull. They will help you to the best of their capabilities and are always working with a smile on their faces. Also the location is perfect, it will take you less then a minute to get too the beach and everything is close by. There is a supermarket, alot of restaurants and stores all in the same street. It is really a perfect hotel and I have no negative things to say. Thanks to everyone from the Lea Hotel for making my vacation even more perfect <3

Verified reviewLea Hotel is wonderfully located by the beach, near the main tourist area, with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean, with all amenities provided; kettle and mini-fridge in the room, with water, tea and coffee provided daily. The Wi-Fi is excellent, with routers on each floor - as I travel for work, this is essential for me, and I was very happy with the signal for online meetings - and there is a flat screen TV with Netflix included. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom / walk-in shower is modern, with hot water always available; the balcony is lovely for sitting out in the morning or evening. Ozun at reception is friendly and very helpful and always willing to assist with any questions; Mr Zafir in the restaurant is welcoming and serves the excellent Turkish breakfast quickly, whilst the rest of the staff are efficient and always smiling. I enjoyed my stay at Lea Hotel and Suites so much, I decided to stay longer - highly recommended...!
