The staff gave us such a warm welcome after a very long journey, and were so lovely with my four small children. The room felt like an authentic cave room and was very warm with comfortable beds and a hamam bath. Breaskfast was huge and delicious! There were lots of people around to help with arranging tours and trips and the children really enjoyed climbing the rocks to the church and cafe opposite the hotel.

The location is a little away from Goreme..which is the happening part of Cappadocia. But then this hotel is in a quiet and not too crowded location which makes it better if you are looking for a peaceful stay.

The Cave rooms were awesome. We felt very cosy and comfortable. The sunset view from the deck was unforgettable. The old couple in charge of food and facilities were very very sweet and friendly.

It’s a great location, some of the places that the tours will take you on are right at your doorstep. You’ll also spot the balloons every morning. The food is some of the best in Cavusin. But more than anything else the highlight is the staff; Fatih, Ayten, and Abdi are some of the kindest and nicest people I met in Turkey. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. My wife sprained her leg and the nearest medical shop was 5kms away but Abdi was kind enough to take me on his bike to get bandages. You can’t ask for more.

It is not a comfy stay, because of the cave setting. . So don't plan for a long stay. Semi Open bath. Not much spread in breakfast

It was an actual cave hotel. Good setting and ambiance. Good location. Great staff. Fresh and local items in the breakfast.

The couple who prepare your meals are both so wonderful. It is a quiet village but a short ride to goreme. Very nice people all around. Lots of dogs and cats to love on. The host scheduled our activities which helped us and was appreciated.

It is not in Goreme but in the Çavuşin village which is about 15 mins away by car from Goreme. The facilities inside the rooms are minimal. The toilet drains have a smell that wont go away.

It is a genuine old cave in which they have made rooms. We loved the homely breakfast served by Aytin and Abti. They are the best people we met in Turkey. My children were so fond of them and both of them went out of their way to spoil them.

The place needs some maintenance and freshening up. Some more decoration and furniture deep clean/replacement would make a big difference. We had a fireplace but no firewood was provided which was a shame. It was still cold enough at night that a fire would have been cozy. We also had some sort of consistent dripping of water from the ceiling, making a dangerous puddle in the hallway (slippery rock plus water is no good). It took a very long time to get hot water, which when trying to fill a giant bathtub, feels quite wasteful. The little village closes super early and there are very few options, with high prices considering the location (550 TL for a hookah in a cafe with zero vibe). So if you are looking for nightlife, this wouldn't be the right choice.

We stayed in the Presidential Cave Suite. What a great room! We had more than enough space and what's not to love about a giant sunken bathtub for two? The older couple who took care of us were a delight. Very attentive and ensured we had everything we could want. The breakfast was outstanding and made fresh with love. Looking out onto the abandoned historical cave village is also super cool. If you manage to wake up early it's a great location to watch the sunrise hot air balloons.

The guy at the front desk was not friendly and was not clear when giving information. Getting a hold of him after 7 pm was very hard. The bottles of water left in the room outside of the refrigerator are part of the minibar, not complimentary. The bed was not comfortable

The location was great, good breakfast and the couple doing the cleaning around the hotel was very nice

We can recommend the hotel. But you should be aware it is made in a cave, therefore it is impossible to reach the comfort of some modern new building... so if you are prepared to some smaller imperfections you will really enjoy your stay.

It was really unique experience to spend the night in a cave room. We got upgrade to a biger appartment, thank you for it! The location is good - and the view is gorgeous. Early morning the hot air baloons are flying all arround, some of them very near :-) The breakfast was served (very nicely) in extrodinary cave-room, and was very tasty. The couple taking care of the hotel and the breakfast were so welcoming and kind.

Just a minor thing: I was hoping there would be a restaurant in the hotel based on the listed facilities. You can order food in the hotel from a limited menu with an hour's notice. In any event, it does not matter because there are great restaurants within walking distance (e.g., Cappa Gusto and Seyyah Han).

The hotel is situated in an excellent location between Goreme and Avanos, with five minutes' drive to Paşabağı Valley and 30 minutes' drive to Kaymakli Underground City. It is nicely tucked at the end of a street, facing the old village ruins of Çavuşin, which is also an interesting place to visit. When you climb up the ruins before sunrise, you see balloons flying over your head. From my room window, I could see the old village ruins of Çavuşin and the balloons. It is a very delightful and quiet neighbourhood. The bedroom was spacious. The bathroom was also very spacious. Very generous portion of breakfast which includes eggs, cheeses, chess rolls, bread, olives, vegetables and fruits. Very helpful members of staff who were there to answer questions and help with queries. I had my airport transfers (from and to airports) arranged. The best thing for me was the car park. I had a rental car which I didn't want to park in the street. I could park the car inside the hotel.

We loved the experience of living in a cave. Away from the busy city but right in front of that special landscape and where the balloons start in the morning. They come so close that the.sound of the fire woke us some times. Abti, Aycen, Mustafa and the boys are heart and soul of the place

The pillows were not very comfortable as they inflate kind of like balloons (no pun intended) and it's difficult to get the air out.

We ordered 4 tickets for a show thru the hotel ( receptionist took our order ) thinking we are going to see what's on picture in the posters( swirling sufi dancers). The receptionist didn't tell us that it will be a totally diff.show all together ( turkish night with food and drinks without the religious swirling dancers) We were very disappointed when they did not appear of course. Our time and payments were wasted into some event/show we do not wish to see at all.

Food in breakfast was very good. Freshly fried eggs, delicate presentation of food fres We can ask for more refill if we want some more food..:) ..Also worth mentioning was the very attentive couple who tended our needs during our whole stay. Terrace of the hotel was large and we had a great view of air balloons passing by above us while we are sipping coffee and having a great photo shots..😃.

Fatih. Absolutely unresponsive and nonchalant. As if someone is holding him at gunpoint to run this hotel. He was not present during our checkout. On our last night there we faced a horrible incident. At 12 am at night, we woke up hearing a loud scream of a woman (2/3 times), lots of banging doors and hurried footsteps. A car (or ATV?) kept coming and going. And a dog kept barking consistently. We kept contacting Fatih about the situation but there was no response from him. We kept wondering if there was some kind of abduction/murder going on outside, we were scared for our lives and kept thinking if we’re next. The terrace connects all the rooms together and anyone from the outside could enter our room through the terrace (since the terrace door lock is kind of flimsy), so you can imagine how traumatised we were. Thankfully, after an hour, everything calmed down and we went back to sleep. We still don’t know what happened that night and we’re so grateful that it was our last night there.

Starting with the positives: Abdi and Ayten, have been the sweetest caretakers. The food they cooked were delicious and the way they treated us made us feel like we’re at home. The terrace was beautiful with the most perfect view of the hills, sunset and hot air balloons. There were quite a few souvenir shops and restaurants downhill which made the stay quite convenient. Chavusin is overall a calm little village where you can admire the view and feel like a local.
