The lift had some issues in my building. It stopped in wrong positions and the door wouldn't open.

For some reason, in the beginning of April the room heater was not hot or even warm at all times. Twice it was very hot, but most of the time it just went ice cold, we were happy to have an AC on, but still just the heater would be much better. I understand, the building is old, like over one hundred years, and actually didn't complain about that, but for someone that would be a problem.

The room was looking out to Taksim square, I was afraid it would be too loud, but it was ok. The building is old and beautiful. Breakfast is rich with cheese varieties. You can order an omelet and a cup of Turkish coffee at the breakfast counter too. Location is fantastic. Very convenient, and yes, like others commented above - 10 minutes from the hotel there are buses going both to Istanbul and Sabiha Gokchen airports.

I forgot some stuff in the room but they didn’t return it, might be the housekeeping maid stole it , I sent whatsapp message to the hotel they replied rudely , I might left them somewhere else while they were two shirts left in the cupboard.

There is too much noise at night inside the annexe building. So getting peaceful sleep is a problem. The shop keepers on the second and first floor were extremely loud! Also the place has no elevator so taking stairs to the third floor was tiring.

The place was very clean and right on Istiklal street so accessing the restaurants, metro and shopping was very easy. There is a money exchange right next to the hotel so that was also nice. Over all a nice, comfortable place to stay. AC worked well and running hot water was a big plus! The breakfast was really good and so was the staff.

The kitchen service was set up for only two people, however, when we asked for more items, they quickly provided them, so the issue was resolved. Also, the towel dryer in the bathroom wasn't functioning. It was a bit inconvenient, but it didn't have a major impact on our overall experience, especially considering the other positive aspects of our stay.

I just had to share my amazing experience booking family room number 101 for six people. It was simply fantastic! The room was incredibly comfortable, with two sofa beds and a double bed, all wonderfully clean. We couldn't have asked for more. The location was absolutely perfect, right near Taksim Square and facing Istiklal Street. It couldn't have been better situated. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Umut at the reception and Hossein, the breakfast service staff. Umut and his colleague (I'm sorry, I forgot the name) were incredibly helpful, ensuring our check-in went smoothly. They were so professional and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. And a special thank you to Hossein for making our mornings delightful with a delicious breakfast. Despite it being served at a separate building just a 2-minute walk away, it was well worth it, offering a wide variety of tasty options for everyone's palate.
