United KingdomCommunication with the staff extremely difficult. Seemingly pleasant and welcoming but poor understanding of English led to difficulties for example booking a transfer was a last minute panic although we had made the request the day before. A shame because a lovely place to stay.

United StatesRooms can be renovated with more comfortable beds and better bathrooms. Water pressure was very low (stayed in September 2024) and made showering less enjoyable.
Staff and owners are friendly and they want to make sure to assist you during your stay in whatever way they can. Complimentary breakfast at the seaside was a plus. Location wise it's close to the many restaurants, cafes etc. Also, check in and check out were hassle free.

Cleaning is perfect. Breakfast is open buffet and it’s very good. Staff is very nice. They made us a surprise room prep. for our honeymoon.

TurkeyThe hotel employs 3 or 4 young seasonal workers (very nice people) who seem to be working 18 hours a day. You can tell they are exhausted. You see the same people 7 in the morning until after midnight serving people. They dont speak English. Despite all this, the staff do their best to accommodate you. Breakfast is at the roof but not the best. dont expect 5 star hotel breakfast. Very important, there are not "Do not Disturb" signs on the hotel doors. Housekeeping staff might knock on your door and enter while you are having shower. (very lovely women). overall satisfactory
The hotel is new and right next to the sea. the roof on the 2nd floor has magnificent view. The sea is right in front. there are cafes, supermarkets nearby. Hotel staff are friendly. The school next door is used as private parking in summer for 100 TL per day. free parking is very limited. the hotel exceeded my expectations in general for the value. Ali and Merve are great employees. Rooms and the hotel were clean in general. The bed was comfortable. has elevator. Highly recommended.

ItalyThe facilities do not meet the expectations given the pricing of the hotel. The WiFi never worked for the entire stay, and the air conditioning was old and noisy, giving no chance to adjust the temperature - as a result it was either too hot or too cold in the room, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the breakfast could be improved.
The property is well located and has a reserved bathing area just in front of it. The only member of the staff who could speak English was supportive and helpful.

South AfricaI would never recommend Thymus Hotel in Bodrum to anyone. Checking in – From the moment we arrived, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms – Small, not clean, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained, with beds as hard as rock, making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Air conditioning – Noisy, clunky, and far from relaxing. Breakfast – Equally disappointing: low quality, badly presented, and clearly not fresh. We arrived at 09:30, and once the food ran out, it was never replaced. If you come later, expect to leave hungry. They dont care ! Wi-Fi – Did not work for our entire stay, and the hotel staff clearly couldn’t care less. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The highlight of our trip? Walking out of this hotel for the last time.
