  “Loved this place despite it being old, and in need of an update. The owners are lovely, the house keeping are great. Water filters on each floor. Fridge available downstairs. A/C good. Shower good. Room size not big, but enough room. Location great. Wi-Fi mostly good.”

  “This is the most welcoming, accommodating hostel I have ever stayed at. The owners will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, and to ensure you enjoy Taitung to the fullest! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious (and freshly grown on-site!) I hadn't booked a taxi, so one of the owners picked me up from the festival I was at and drove me to the hostel. They even helped plan my day at the Taitung Balloon Festival today, I can't wait! Thanks so much for an excellent weekend, see you very soon I hope!”

  “This is most certainly the best accommodation you can book in Chenggong. We arrived during our second day of Bike Packing and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful with everything. This house has a beautiful view and a secluded private nature which you can enjoy both from the room, the spacious communal kitchen and living room area and the balcony deck which is ideal for a sunrise yoga session!The room itself but also the whole building is very clean with thoughtful details. Before arriving we recommend that you do a small grocery run as there are no supermarkets in the small village. There is however a great little restaurant the hosts recommended to us with fresh fish only a 20' walk down to the beach. We loved everything! Will return for sure.”

  “Nice, scenic spot. Bring your car or motorbike to see more of the environment. Walking is mostly limited to the highways. Nice views everywhere however. Staff is friendly and most helpful. Enough English spoken to manage your stay. If they open the buffet for meals you are really lucky because the food is delicious.”
